A lot is happening not only in our community but around the country right now. Now more than ever is a time to stay involved with our community and to listen and learn to the needs of our community. In an effort to keep Hudson County involved and up to date with local happenings, we created this list of all the events happening in Hoboken, Jersey City, and beyond this weekend {June 4th-7th}.

Project Sculpt’s Summer Body Transformation Contest

Project Sculpt is launching outdoor one-on-one personal training sessions and a one-on-one Summer Body Transformation Challenge in addition to their online classes. Entry for the contest is split into four weekly payments of $200. Jersey City’s premiere quarterly arts festival will showcase a variety of happenings including visual art exhibitions, live music, performance acts, and educational demonstrations from 14 participating venues. The online event focuses on inclusion and encourages participants to present work from artists with disabilities and work that celebrates disability in any of its many forms, including impairments that are cognitive, developmental, intellectual, mental, physical, and sensory. This Saturday, Jersey City will be holding a protest outside of City Hall.

Hoboken Farmers’ Market at Church Square Park

Tuesday, June 9th | 2:00PM-6:00PM

Following social distancing precautions, the Hoboken Farmers’ Market — located on Garden Street between 4th and 5th Streets — is reopening this Tuesday. Residents need to continue to have access to fresh produce and products in order to stay healthy. The vendors will follow social distancing regulations, including keeping more space between each vendor by operating on both sides of the block, and a glove and face mask requirement.
