Using Crystals to Amplify the Energy

One of the best way to simply infuse some magick into your day without much thought is to carry a crystal that is set with an intention. Rose Quartz is an incredible stone for self-love and can be just the thing for anyone who’s romantically involved or otherwise. This stone will help you to create some energetic boundaries that honor your divine feminine and help to put your joy at the forefront. On the flip-side, Red Aventurine is basically a crystal aphrodisiac. Associated with the Sacral Chakra and known to have fertility powers, it can be just the thing to get you in the mood.

    Taking a Sensual Magick Bath

Taking a bath can be a super fun solo activity or for a pair, and adding some magickal ingredients can help to pump up the vibe for everyone involved. Using essential oils or bath bombs that have a certain type of fragrance can help enrich loving energy. For example, cinnamon is great for adding some spice. Rose is very regularly associated with love, and adding rose petals to your bath can make it even steamier. Vanilla is also an incredible love fragrance, associated with the Goddess and known to invoke vitality.

    Using Kitchen Witchery

Creating food with a partner or treating yourself to a home cooked meal is a great way to show some care. Using different types of ingredients in your food can bring some magick in, too. Cardamom is an excellent way to heat things up in the kitchen and can be added in many different recipes because of its complex taste. Rosemary encourages peace in the home and can be a great addition to a solo recipe to set the mood for some real self-loving.

    Color Magick to Evoke Romance

The colors of Valentine’s Day have an energetic vibration that matches the mood of the holiday. Pink is the color of self-love and self-compassion, and red is a complete fire starter. Wear red on a hot date out {even if it’s a just touch of lipstick} to evoke sensuality, and wear pink to bring about sweetness in any form you desire.

    Picking Intentional Flowers

Flowers are another way to show how you care and to bring energy in. Roses are the obvious romantic choice, but red Lilies also symbolize desire. And if you’re looking to adorn your Self Love Altar, Azaleas represent gratitude and taking care of yourself.

So, as you can see, there are many ways to make intentional choices this Valentine’s Day. Start working some love magick and enjoy your holiday however it presents itself to you.
