Hudson County has thrift stores and consignment shops aplenty, and as of earlier this summer, there is one more thrift shop to check out in the Mile Square. The Armoire Thrift, which sells clothes, housewares, and jewelry, opened up this past July and is the newest thrift shop to come to the area. Read on to learn more about The Armoire Thrift, located at 60 Newark Street in Hoboken, New Jersey.
About the Spot
On Newark Street lies one of the newest shops to come to Hoboken — The Armoire Thrift. The spot is owned by Sherley Coutois and opened up in July 2023. The Armoire Thrift sells a variety of items at its storefront — including vintage second-hand clothing, housewares, and jewelry.
On thrift shops’ Instagram @thearmoirethrift, Sherley has been posting about everything locals can browse when visiting the shop. Some of the items customers might find include leopard-print or bedazzled flats, Steve Madden sneakers, cargo-print pants, ripped jeans, dresses, blouses, and handbags, among other clothing items.
Jewelry options include a variety of necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and more — all with an eclectic-looking-vibe.
When it comes to housewares, The Armoire Thrift sells items like serving dishes, bowls, and decorative plates, among other home goods. Since these items may vary, check out the shop to see the latest selections. The spot is open from 2PM-8PM on Wednesday and Thursday, and 12PM-8PM Friday through Sunday.
