A taco restaurant is coming to the location of the former Mighty Quinn’s Barbecue. Tacobee’s Mexican Grill, a fast-casual taco restaurant, will open later this year at 322 Washington Street. Mighty Quinn’s Barbecue was the previous tenant at 322 Washington Street. The New York-based barbecue spot closed in February 2025 after opening in August 2022. The space has been vacant until now, when signs have been posted in the window. Per Jersey Digs, an application from the company to update the building’s signage was heard at last week’s Historic Preservation Committee meeting.

Tacobee’s Mexican Grill opened its first location in Brooklyn in 2024 and added a location in the Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia earlier this year. Another New Jersey location, in Franklin Township, is also set to open this year. The shop is open till 3AM, making it one of the few late-night options along Washington Street.
Tacobee’s offers fully customizable nachos, tacos, bowls, quesadillas, loaded fries, and burritos. The restaurant also offers catering. The Hoboken Girl has reached out to the company for more information and will update this piece when we hear back.
