As Scorpio season winds to an end, full of mystery, intensity, and deep emotional intimacy, we head into Sagittarius Season on November 22nd. Sagittarius is known as the philosopher of the zodiac, and gets us almost all the way to Christmas, ending on Yule, or December 21st. Whether or not you are a Sagittarius, you will be experiencing the energy of this sign during its time in the sun.

Sagittarius is a fire sign, which, like it’s fellow fires {Leo and Aries} brings passion and creativity while the weather gets colder and colder. Of the four elements {earth, air, and water being the others} Fire brings hot dynamics and a willingness to fight. This means that courage and bravery will be on your side for this trip around the Sun.
The ninth sign of the zodiac is also ruled by Jupiter, which is currently in Sagittarius. When a planet is orbiting in the astrological placement it rules, it is extremely happy. This is good news for all of us because Jupiter rules expansiveness. Hello, abundance!
But beware — expansiveness isn’t always welcome. If you are focusing on the negative, that will also expand. Remember that thoughts create things, and it will behoove you this season to focus on gratitude over attitude. Some really key ways to do this are to journal daily, name three things out loud that you’re grateful for, and to consciously reroute negative thinking.

You may feel inspired to search for deeper meaning. Coming off of Scorpio season {the detectives of the zodiac} you’re still running high on collecting all of the data. However, your perspective shifts a bit to a more philosophical stance, rather than zeroing in with hyperfocus.
Sagittarius is also a mutable sign. A lesser-known subsect of astrology, the signs are also categorized into three qualities, being cardinal, mutable, and fixed. Fellow mutables are Gemini, Virgo, and Pisces, and are known for ending the seasons. Because of their placement in the wheel, they are known to be very adaptable, flowing from one season to another. For this reason, they are also the “editors” of the zodiac, ending the season with a bang and changing what needs to be done in order to start the next cycle.
