One of the most exciting parts of this past year has been looking forward to the openings of new storefronts, restaurants, salons, and more. Things that the public can regularly enjoy post-COVID-19. Hoboken Girl has learned that Raine and River, a Herbal Apothecary for all physical and spiritual needs, is opening a store location in Jersey City next month. What We Know
According to the Instagram page, Raine and River Apothecary plans to open a Jersey City location in the near future — located at 299 Grove Street just steps away from Razza and Beechwood Cafe. Founder Natasha personally shared the news that the plan is to officially open in June.

The latest image of the work-in-progress space, which was shared on March 12th along with a caption explaining, “Just wanted to give you guys an update as to what’s been going on at the Shop. We’ve been doing lots of work getting things together to be ready for when the permits and inspections are complete. We can’t really do anything, not even put stock out until everything is approved by the inspectors.”

While there have been many eager predictions and lingering mysteries surrounding what this finalized space will look like on the opening day, Natasha confirmed that the store’s visual aesthetic is completely different from the website and that the storefront is currently wrapped and hidden as the team continues to put on all of the finishing touches.
About the Founder
Natasha, who has been a spiritual herbalist since 1998, specializes in creating plant medicine potions, tinctures, extracts, teas, herbal medicine, and more. Her passion for health and wellness began at a young age inspired by her Grandfather while growing up on the Island of Trinidad. When she migrated to Brooklyn, New York as a young adult she brought with her the knowledge and respect of natural remedies.
After making new connections through working many jobs in the health space including being a fitness instructor, and working at a health food store and wellness center, she furthered her education and which led her to discover that there is a herb for every ailment, sparking her passion for homemade apothecary.
Today Natasha is the proud founder and owner of Raine and River where she creates and formulates her very own products.
