As more spring happenings pop up all around Hudson County, a Hoboken resident is adding to the agenda. Anel Laurens will be hosting a Plants + Clothes Swap this Sunday, April 24th. Read on to learn more about this upcoming Hoboken event.
The Details
The Plants + Clothes Swap will take place from 1PM – 4PM on Park Avenue in Hoboken between 3rd and 4th streets on Sunday, April 24th. For the clothes side, the organizer is asking residents to bring unwanted, clean, new, or gently used clothes to the event in exchange for some of the other donated clothes.
There is no pressure to bring anything, and you are still welcome to take clothes if not.

If you’re interested in the plant part of this happening, everyone is welcome to bring plants and seeds to donate and swap with others. There’s also the option to just come to pick up some plants.
“Our aim is to get the community together and share a fun day!!” Anel Laurens said on Facebook.
Anel is asking people interested in participating to bring bags to the event. She is also looking for someone to lend a fold-up table as well as a clothes rack on wheels for the day. If you’re interested in assisting with the Plants + Clothes Swap, contact Anel at 917-488-9336 or by email at [email protected]. The event will be canceled if it rains on Sunday.
This event has written permission from the Hoboken City Council to close off Park Avenue for the Plants + Clothes Swap. Learn more in our Hoboken Girl Insiders Facebook Group.
