The owner, Wyatt Harte, tells The Hoboken Girl, “We are very excited. We’ve been waiting and wanting to do this for a while. We know there will be challenges up ahead from prices, surges on goods, produce, to it being a tough market to find reliable staff members but this is our dream. We’re excited to provide good comfort food with a twist and hope our community will continue to stand behind us.”

Wyatt, who’s been in the culinary industry for over a decade, adds that the goal was “always to have a storefront.” He continued, “We wanted a main hub or home where we can do more with the menu and experiment with flavors. Eventually, we’d like to expand further when the time is right.”

About the Menu

No Forks Given has gained popularity for creating gourmet handheld creations. The menu consists of a variety of chicken sandwiches including Korean fried chicken, BBQ fried chicken, Southern buttermilk fried chicken, Peruvian fried chicken, and Buffalo fried chicken.

There are also cheesesteak sandwiches, available in regular, Korean BBQ, and Buffalo, as well as carnitas grilled cheese sandwich and artichoke grilled cheese sandwich. The tacos available to order are cheesesteak tacos, Korean BBQ tacos, and Korean fried chicken tacos. The sides include onion rings and loaded curly fries.

As far as the menu for the fast food place, the owner says, “We will be keeping most of the menu that is currently on the truck along with newer ideas that we are currently working on now.”

With the convenience of the food truck where residents can easily walk up or place an order ahead of time over the phone, Wyatt says the concept will remain the same with the storefront. “The plan is for it to be more of a grab & go,” he shares. “It’s too tiny to do seating.”

On the Horizon

No Forks Given’s new home has now soft opened as of June 21st, 2023. Upon opening, the food truck will still be around, but Wyatt believes that may change in the future. The goal is to serve as many people as possible in the community

“It’s the people and the city’s diversity,” Wyatt tells HG about pleasing the community. “We love seeing that diversity within our customers and enjoy getting to know them on a personal level where they become friends. We are grateful for their continued love and support throughout these past five years.”
