In late March, an eagle-eyed reader sent a tip to The Hoboken Girl with an update on the vacant space at 1201 Hudson Street in Hoboken. Renovations were ongoing in the space, but a clue on the building permit indicated that a new spa was opening soon. We now know that 4Ever Young, an anti-aging and medical spa, has moved into the space at 1204 Bernard McFeeley Shipyard Lane. Read on for what we know about 4Ever Young’s arrival in uptown Hoboken.

What We Know

Photos sent in by an HG reader in late March showed that the renovation permit at 1201 Hudson Street included the word ‘spa’.

The vacant space is on the ground floor of 1201 Hudson Street, and according to a listing on the commercial real estate site Crexi, is a little over 2,000 square feet in size. It used to be a Verizon store and is on the ground floor of The Shipyard Building.

On April 7th, the same reader spotted signage for a new medical spa called 4Ever Young. While the renovation permits list 1201 Hudson Street, 4Ever Young’s website lists 1204 Bernard McFeeley Shipyard Lane as its Hoboken location.

The anti-aging and medical spa provides cosmetic botox, dermaplaning, CoolSculpting, hydrafacials, chemical peels, microneedling, custom facials, and more. 4Ever Young also has two types of VIP memberships that include unlimited year-round product, service discounts, and access to events and specials.

The chain currently has six New Jersey locations in Hoboken, Edgewater, Livingston, Morristown, Ridgewood, and Spring Lake, with other locations coming soon to Jersey City, Montclair, Princeton, Ramsey, Summit, Wayne, and Westfield.

This space will become part of a growing trend in Hoboken. In 2023, 13 beauty businesses opened or announced plans to open in the Mile Square. So far in 2024, Glowbar has opened up shop at 612 Washington Street.

Another new uptown Hoboken business was announced at the end of March — signage for Urban Market, Dumbo Market’s first New Jersey location, went up at 1425 Washington Street. Previously it was thought that the grocer would be called “Hoboken Market,” but the team confirmed with HG it would instead be called Urban Market, which is the parent company behind Dumbo Market.

The Urban Market team also shared that “Urban Market Hoboken will be a high-end supermarket with organic and conventional products.” Signs outside the storefront promise residents that the uptown market is opening soon, and HG can confirm that soon means late summer or early fall of this year.
