To add to Hoboken’s lineup of beauty businesses, Glowbar, a skincare chain specializing in facial treatments, is making its way to the neighborhood and taking over the former Deka Lash space at 612 Washington Street. As of September 7th, signage is already up for Glowbar at Deka Lash’s former storefront. Signage reads “coming soon” with a QR code that links to more information about Glowbar. The signage also notes that Glowbar is “hiring” and looking for new employees to join their team. The official location of Glowbar is 612 Washington Street in Hoboken.

Glowbar is an East Coast-based skin-care chain, with multiple locations in New York and one location in Connecticut. With the new Hoboken storefront, it will mark the first Glowbar to arrive in New Jersey.
According to Glowbar’s website, the business is dedicated to finding an “approach focused on achieving skincare goals with clinical-grade facial treatments that eliminate menus and expensive add-ons.” To receive these facial treatments, customers can choose to be a member for $55 or a non-member for $77. Treatments include derma planning, extractions, chemical peels, LED light therapy, and more.

For members, there is access to one monthly treatment, additional treatments for $55, one guest pass per membership year, discounts, a referral program, and exclusive events + perks. Once you’re there, here’s how it works: customers wash their faces at Glowbar’s wash bar, estheticians give 30-minute custom facials, and end the visit with a specialized personal routine to follow post-treatment.
