What We Know + About Glowbar

Back in February, an email was sent to us by a spokesperson for Glowbar, saying that the new location would be opening in Hoboken at the end of February. We can now confirm that Glowbar’s Hoboken outpost is officially open.

On September 7th, signage was already up for Glowbar at Deka Lash’s former storefront. The signage read “coming soon” with a QR code that links to more information about Glowbar. The signage also noted that Glowbar is “hiring” and looking for new employees to join their team. The official location of Glowbar is 612 Washington Street in Hoboken.

On Glowbar’s site, there is an opening for a lead esthetician, and a front desk coordinator (studio guide) at the Hoboken location. To keep updated with other job opportunities from Glowbar, the website can be found here.

Glowbar is an East Coast-based skincare chain, with multiple locations in New York and one location in Connecticut. With the new Hoboken storefront, it will mark the first Glowbar to arrive in New Jersey.

According to Glowbar’s website, the business is dedicated to finding an “approach focused on achieving skincare goals with clinical-grade facial treatments that eliminate menus and expensive add-ons.” To receive these facial treatments, customers can choose to be a member for $55 or a non-member for $77. Treatments include derma planning, extractions, chemical peels, LED light therapy, and more.

For members, there is access to one monthly treatment, additional treatments for $55, one guest pass per membership year, discounts, a referral program, and exclusive events + perks. Once you’re there, here’s how it works: customers wash their faces at Glowbar’s wash bar, estheticians give 30-minute custom facials, and end the visit with a specialized personal routine to follow post-treatment.
