Brunch on Mother’s Day is going to look a bit different this year. Bottomless mimosas at our favorite local eateries unfortunately aren’t a thing right now, but that doesn’t mean that the holiday and brunch celebrations have to be any less special. Local restaurants have come up with new and innovative ways to celebrate moms all over Hudson County by offering special brunch delivery. Check out this list of local Hoboken and Jersey City spots offering something special for Mother’s Day this year:
Hoboken
Alfalfa {1110 Washington Street}
This year, Alfalfa will be open on Mother’s Day for pickup and delivery from 9:00AM until 5:00PM. Alfalfa will have rose doughnuts available, as well as custom letter ‘MOTHER’S DAY’ doughnuts available for preorder through email at hello@eatalfalfa.com.
Ali Baba {912 Washington Street}
For delicious and authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, check out Ali Baba. This Hoboken staple is offering two promos for $7 off $40 or more and $12 off $60 or more and will also have delivery and curbside pickup available.
Anthony David’s {953 Bloomfield Avenue}
Chef Pino has created a curated brunch box filled with brunch favorites. For $90, families can enjoy two entrees — homemade quiche, salmon platter, or lobster roll sliders, and seasonal berries and yogurt, brunch potatoes, sausage, or bacon, petit French toast, and assorted pastries. Each box feeds four people. Pick up and delivery can be arranged between 8:00AM and 11:00AM on Mother’s Day. All orders must be placed by May 8th. Gift cards are also available — buy $100 and AD will add $25.
Apulia {1319 Washington Street}

This authentic Italian restaurant will be highlighting its incredible menu for Mother’s Day this year. The D.O.P. {Apulian tomato, mozzarella, 24-months aged prosciutto di parma + Parmigiano reggiano} and the biancaneve {mozzarella, stracciatella, ricotta, garlic, and EVOO} are our favorite pizzas. End the day with something sweet like gelato or the Nutella calzone. Delivery and pick up are available.
Augustino’s {1104 Washington Street}
Treat mom to a classic Italian staple, Augustino’s will be open for dinner on Mother’s Day for pick up. Available will be its classic menu plus a few specials. Get ready for some of our favorites like roast rack of lamb, Chilean sea bass, or choice of veal, chicken, shrimp parm and so much more. Check its Instagram @augustinosrestaurant for the full menu.
Barbés {1300 Park Avenue}
In addition to its regular menu, Barbés will be offering a special three course menu plus a bottle of rosé. For $65, choose from a salade Mediterranean or burrata aux tomates, lamb chops, or poisson chermoula, and finish with a chocolate mousse with a French macaroon.

Bin 14 {1314 Washington Street}
Anthony David’s sister restaurant also has a curated brunch box thanks to Chef Pino and his team. Included in the box are a choice of two entrees — artisan cheese and cured meats, truffle honey, burrata, and focaccia, or lobster bruschetta and includes a bottle of Valdo Sparkling Rosé seasonal berries and yogurt, and a Nutella zeppole. Each box feeds up to four people and costs $90 + tax and gratuity. Orders can be picked up only between 10:00AM and 12:00PM on Mother’s Day. All orders must be placed by May 8th. Gift cards are also available — buy $100 and Bin 14 will add $25.
Blue Eyes {525 Sinatra Drive}
Nothing says “I love you mom” quite like pizza and Blue Eyes is the place to go. The restaurant will have a great selection of pies available for carryout pick up. Be sure to check out the website and Instagram for more information.
Brass Rail {135 Washington Street}
This Hoboken Staple is open for brunch and dinner this Sunday and will be delivering food to moms in the area. For $20 per person, families can enjoy a two-course meal plus one big mimosa. Choose from very berry crepes, caesar salad, smoked salmon toast, tomato soup, or a yogurt parfait for an appetizer. For dinner, tomato ricotta broccoli frittata, steak and egg tacos, ham Gruyère French toast sandwiches, brunch burger, and broccoli, bacon, and manchego cheese quiche are all on the menu.
Bread Basket NYC {Online Only}
Bread Basket is doing its part to support local artisans by delivering freshly-baked bread and goodies right to the doorstep. Order some for mom and let her be surprised by the delicious bread that comes included in the box. With sourdough, bagels, sandwich bread, chocolate Challa, brownies, cookies, and other goodies, mom will be so happy!
Cafe Michelina {423 Bloomfield Avenue}
Dinner is coming in hot at Cafe Michelina as the team will be cooking up quite the menu on Mother’s Day. Get ready for some delicious specials like gnocchi Pomodoro with eggplant and fresh mozzarella, stuffed rigatoni with shrimp or chicken in vodka sauce, burrata stuffed ravioli, lobster ravioli, flounder Francese, and gnocchi vodka with burrata.
Dino & Harry’s Steakhouse {163 14th Street}
We’re all dreaming of the day when we can sit inside Dino & Harry’s for a nice steak dinner but for now, the restaurant is offering a delicious menu for takeout. Lobster tails with grilled or steamed asparagus, prime rib {Queen Cut $46 and King Cut $61}, and a surf + turf dinner {petit filet, lobster tail, and steamed/grilled asparagus for $80} are all on the menu. Supplies are limited so be sure to order online soon. Please place all orders directly through Dino & Harry’s either by phone or the website.
Dozzino {534 Adams Street}
Making pizza is what Dozzino does best and Dozzino will be doing this all day on Mother’s Day. This restaurant will offer the regular pizza menu with some specials. Check back during the week for some updated menu items. Offering pickup from the restaurant.
Green Pear Cafe {93 Grand Street}
This Mother’s Day Brunch Prix Fixe menu is sure to make mom feel special and loved. For $100 and feeding four to six people, guests can choose from three different brunch options. Choices include eggs, croissants, crepes, dosas, oatmeals, fruit salads, smoothies, and coffees, depending on the selection. All orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance. Free delivery within Hoboken and Jersey City downtown and the Heights area are available.
Grimaldi’s {411 Washington Street}
Grimaldi’s is a Hoboken staple and will be serving the community on Mother’s Day with the normal menu. Grimaldi’s will be offering free delivery in Hoboken and pick up from 5:00PM until 10:00PM on Sunday. Grimaldi’s is also cooking meals for moms who don’t have a home this year and is accepting donations to help fund the contributions to those at the shelter.
House of ‘Que {340 Sinatra Drive}
Give us BBQ or give us — well, we don’t know, but BBQ is the answer to all things. House of ‘Que has an incredible selection of dishes available for pick up and delivery on Mother’s Day this year. Check IG @houseofque for more updates as the day gets closer.
Hudson Table {1403 Clinton Street}
Hudson Table is changing it up for Mother’s Day and offering Mother’s Day Feast Meal Kits on Sunday. Available is a special edition kit for pick up between 1:00PM and 5:00PM on Sunday with complimentary delivery upon request in the Hoboken area. For $95 and serving up to four people, the menu includes a strawberry salad, cheddar, and bacon cornbread, crab cakes, grilled chicken with tomatoes and pesto, spring hash, and a lemon olive oil cake with lavender honey by Bri. A virtual cooking class on Sunday will be hosted via Zoom with live instruction and includes a fully packed ingredient kit. La Bouche {207 Washington Street}
For a simply delicious French meal, La Bouche has a delectable menu available. The team at La Bouche is also offering a Mother’s Day special for 10% off on all delivery and pick up orders as well as a free dessert for mom.
Losurdo’s {410 2nd Street}
Losurdo’s will be open for business on Mother’s Day and will have delicious deli items, antipasto platters, bread, and so much more available. Treat mom to something absolutely delicious. Maybe even have a balcony picnic with some sandwiches, too!
Orale {1426 Willow Avenue}
Orale will be doing brunch pre-orders for Mother’s Day and though it looks a bit different than last year’s celebrations, it is delicious, nonetheless. On the menu are options for two to six people and can be customized. Brunch cocktails are also available. Pre-orders will be extended into Sunday. Call to order or use the website.
Otto Strada {743 Park Avenue}
Otto Strada will be serving up a three-course prix fixe menu for Mother’s Day with special menu items for delivery and pick up. For $50 per person plus tax and gratuity, guests can enjoy delicious food from the comfort home. Guests can enjoy three courses of pure bliss from Otto Strada.
Pilsner Haus + Biergarten {1422 Grand Street}
Everyone’s favorite Biergarten will be open on Mother’s Day or pick up and delivery. This is a great option for the mom that wants to throw back some beers and brats to celebrate. The Biergarten is also offering a free warm Bavarian pretzel with every take out order placed in person or over the phone and offering 40% off of all beer and wine bottles.
The Shepherd and the Knucklehead {1313 Willow Avenue}
The Shep will be serving the normal menu this Sunday and are offering both pickup and delivery to all customers. The Lemonade Stand will most certainly be open for drinks, too as partnered with @hobokenbrewingco. The Shep will be open from 12:00PM to 10:00PM.

Mother’s Day Brunch meal kits will be on the menu this year and will be available for pre-order only. These kits can be picked up on Saturday, May 9th. This all-inclusive package will include prepped ingredients to make coffee cake, granola, asparagus, ricotta quiche, buttermilk blueberry pancakes, and bacon, plus a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of Sorellina sparkling wine. There will also be smaller packages and a la carte offerings as well. Sorellina will have select wine is for purchase including Montepulciano and sparkling wine as well as pre-made cocktails and Hoboken Brewing beers.
Tony Boloney’s {263 1st Street}
Big things are happening at Tony Boloney’s this Sunday. Specially available will be DIY pizza kits for kids to design for mom, which come with instructions, projects, coloring sheets, and cards. Tony Boloney’s will also be including free Baking Mama cookies with every order. In addition, in honor and in memory of Grandma Patti {Patricia Gray}, the mother of Tony Boloney’s owner, the restaurant will donate the proceeds from the DIY pizza kits to St. Judes.
8th Street Tavern {800 Washington Street}
On the menu at 8th Street Tavern will be quite a few options, from Big Ass Nachos to buffalo fried chicken sandwiches to the Munich Me Crazy burger, 8th Street Tavern seems to have it all. Also available are .75 cent wings and a Bloody Mary mix with every order. Just call 201-653-8554 to order for pickup only.
Jersey City
Amelia’s Bistro {187 Warren Street}
This year, Amelia’s will be offering the regular brunch menu from 10:00AM until 3:00PM for both delivery and takeout. The restaurant will also have mimosas, bellinis, and bloody mary’s available for pick up as well — bottoms up!
Bistro La Source {85 Morris Street}
Bistro La Source will be offering the full menu on Sunday. Some favorite dishes include the roasted duck breast, lollipop lamb chops, and sauteed branzino filet. This restaurant will also have wine and beer available. Pick up and delivery are available for all orders.
Broa Cafe {297 Grove Street}
Feliz Dia Das Mães {that’s Happy Mother’s Day in Portuguese}! This year, Broa will be offering free delivery on any order over $100. Also available are Mother’s Day Portuguese gift boxes filled with Portuguese goodies including olive oil, olives, canned sardines, chocolates, and even samples of port wine. Each box is custom and made to order and is able to be shipped all over the country. Gift certificates will be available as well!
Bucket + Bay {150 Bay Street}

An untraditional but incredibly delicious twist on ordering out on Mother’s Day, Bucket + Bay will be offering limited edition floral-infused bouquets. Each box will contain two glass pints of floral-infused gelatos plus a jar of flower tea. Choose from seven different bouquets: rose, jasmine, wildflowers, blossoms, mixed bouquets, sweet garden, and farmers market. Mom will love flowers that she can eat. Orders can be placed on the website and will be offering pick up and delivery beginning May 7th.

This Jersey City staple will be serving up brunch, lunch, and dinner on Sunday and will have pickup and delivery available through the website. The potato and goat cheese pierogies are a must-try and so is the cornbread French toast. Don’t sleep on this incredible menu. Also available are mimosa kits, which include a bottle of champagne and freshly squeezed orange juice for $30.
Hamilton Pork {247 10th Street}
If it’s BBQ that mom wants, it’s BBQ that she will get at Hamilton Pork. Offering both pickup and delivery, this restaurant will be cooking up mouth-watering BBQ for the whole family. From brunch to dinner, Hamilton Pork has everything under the sun. Be sure to throw in a few orders of the mac + cheese, too. Also available are $30 mimosa kits, which include a bottle of champagne and a quart of freshly squeezed orange juice as well as $50 margarita kits, which include a bottle of Tequila, a quart of house-made margarita mix, 8oz of agave nectar, 2oz Tajin Chile, and lime wedges.
Hudson Hall {364 Marin Boulevard}
There’s nothing more we’d rather be doing than hanging at Hudson Hall in this gorgeous weather but since we can’t, Hudson Hall is bringing the food home. Brunch and bubbly will be on the menu at Hudson Hall this Mother’s Day. In addition to the brunch food menu, Hudson Hall will be offering $30 mimosa kits, including a bottle of champagne and freshly squeezed orange juice.
Korai Kitchen {576 Summit Avenue}
For authentic Bangladeshi cuisine, Korai Kitchen will be open for business and reopened the doors just in time for Mother’s Day this year and will be open that Sunday from 12:00PM until 4:00PM and again from 6:00PM until 9:00PM.
Harry’s Daughter {339 Communipaw Avenue}
For a sweet reminder of the Caribbean, Harry’s Daughter is a hidden gem in Jersey City. With a menu packed with so much flavor, it’s no wonder this restaurant is a city-wide favorite. Check out the menu online for more details on specials and Mother’s Day menu.
Orale {341 Grove Street}
Just like Hoboken sister restaurant, this location will also be doing brunch pre-orders for Mother’s Day. Orale will have options for two to six people and can be customized. Brunch cocktails are also available. Pre-orders will be extended into Sunday. Call to order or use the website.
Wurstbar {516 Jersey Avenue}
Wurstbar will be open during the regular hours on Mother’s Day. Make your own sandwich at Wurstbar — just pick kielbasa, wurst, brats, chorizo, and so much more and top it with whatever you’d like.
