Keste Pizzeria NYC. To say I am slightly obsessed with this place is an understatement. I have dined here multiple times and cannot say enough about their gluten free pizza. Located on the busy Bleecker street in the West Village, this quaint pizzeria is always crowded…and recently became a stop on my gluten-free travels. Known famously for their wood-fired Neapolitan pizza, the gluten free pizza does not fall short of the restaurant’s reputation.

As I was at an Italian restaurant, I started my night with a generous glass of Chianti (from the Tuscany region). Keste makes six different gluten free pizzas – mast’nicola, margherita, margherita with salami, marinara, regina margherita, and prosciutto e arugula. I decided to stick to a classic – margherita (tomato sauce, homemade mozzarella, basil, olive oil and pecorino romano cheese). It looked like a regular pizza, just a little smaller. The crust was perfectly crispy thanks to the wood-fired oven and the sauce and mozzarrella cheese were perfectly infused with the basil.
Honestly, I can’t say enough about this restaurant and how great their gluten free pizza is. So fresh, well-blended, and their thin crust is just incredible. Their cheese is made on site. If non-gluten free, they also have a nutella pizza I hear is amazing. Sold yet? I can’t wait to go back and try the other types!
