Spring is here, which means that one of Hoboken’s favorite community events is returning. The Artisan Market, presented by Main Street Pops, opens for the season on Sunday, March 19th. Read on to learn more about the market and what to expect.
About the Market
The Artisan Market will take place on the third Sunday of each month, starting March 19th. In June, the Market will take place on June 25th. The Market is located underneath the 14th Street viaduct in uptown Hoboken and is open from 11AM to 4PM. Each month, a group of local artisans and makers will offer things like art, photography, jewelry, fashion, home and lifestyle accessories, artisanal food, pet products, and more.
At this weekend’s Market, there will be fun family-friendly activities such as a Springtime photo opp and sweet treat decorating from Mile Square Early Learning Center, and live music from talented students from NJCU. Over 60 vendors will be on site.

While many of the vendors at the Market rotate, this year the Market will showcase a handful of regular “VIP Vendors” that will be at every market. Popular VIP Vendors will include Nackies Dog Treats, We Are Wonderfully Made Hot Pepper Sauce, Shapes Studio Jewelry, Indian Crafts by Runa Maki, soaps + candles by Burbujas D’Amor, and treats by Gr8 Escape Baking Co.
Local nonprofits also have booths at the Market, for free, in support of the community.
Special events are scheduled throughout the summer, such as live music, flash mobs, themed seasonal photo opportunities, and craft projects for the kids.
