About Beatrice
Beatrice, originally from Stockholm, Sweden, has always been all about beauty and enhancing natural features for as long as she can remember. She began her career in Europe in 2002. Living in Sweden, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, exposed her to a variety of techniques and elements that inspired her to pursue her dreams further. She decided to move to the U.S. in 2010, where she knew the opportunities were endless and limitless. Beatrice began doing makeup for all occasions upon moving here — weddings, editorial magazines, glamour — anything she could get her hands on.
As she learned more about herself, she found that she loved to do lashes. “They are a natural way to enhance your features,” she boasts. After doing intense research, she found a NovaLash certification course {oil + waterproof extensions} that allowed her to train with the best of the best in Manhattan. She began offering lash extension services in 2016 and has since switched brands to LashBoxLA. This American brand offers soft, light, and natural looks. What Luxe Lasherie Offers
At Luxe Lasherie, located in the Downtown Medspa office, Beatrice offers a stunning selection of lashes tailored to the client’s desired look. Ranging in style, volume, and price, these choices are great for anyone interested in bringing out their eyes. Below are the extension options available:
Classic Set — {$150 new set/$80 fills} uses one extension per natural lash and has a soft look and feel. This set covers 100% of the eyes and takes anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half for a new set application.
Volume Set — {$180 new set/$90 fills} uses three to five lash extensions per natural lash but are a bit thinner than the classic set. This allows for a natural, light feel with more volume and takes anywhere from an hour and 45 minutes to two hours.
Russion Volume Set — {$180 new set/$90 fills} uses anywhere from 10 to 15 extensions per one natural lash. They yield a lot of volume and appear very full. They also take approximately an hour and 45 minutes to two hours to complete.
Beatrice boasts about how well her clients maintain and care for their extensions {and it definitely has to do with the quality of the products she uses}. Unlike most places, Luxe Lasherie does not charge for fills based on weeks from the last visit. Beatrice charges the fill price as long as 50% of the lashes are still on. After that, a new set is required. Fills for any of the sets only takes about an hour. She knows that her clients are busy and have places to go and people to see.
Lash Care
Beatrice is thorough and takes the time to do high-quality work on each and every client. She explains the process, maintenance, and care procedures so that the lashes always look their best. She recommends keeping the eyes away from moisture for the first 24 hours, as the glue is still drying. After that, it’s okay to get them wet.
