There’s nothing we love more than a collab between local businesses. Babka Bailout + Boomerang Bites, two Jersey City bakeries that share a location in The Heights, are recruiting a third local player to their team of treats: bwè kafe. Starting today, March 24th, bwè kafe will operate out of the Babka Bailout + Boomerang Bites location at 476 Central Avenue on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for a seasonal pop-up shop. The beloved cafe will be serving up a limited menu of espresso-based beverages and drip coffees. If you can’t journey to The Heights for the pop-up, no fear — this Wednesday, March 22nd bwè released its seasonal spring menu, which celebrates the fifth year anniversary of the iconic Lavender Cold Brew Latte. Read on to learn more about the bwè kafe pop-up at Babka Bailout + Boomerang Bites, and for a sneak peek at bwè’s new spring offerings.

Popping Up in The Heights

bwè kafe is headed to The Heights. Starting today, March 24th, the fan-favorite coffee spot will host a pop-up shop inside Babka Bailout + Boomerang Bites, a storefront home to two local bakeries (that are both worth a visit). The duo first opened their doors this September at 476 Central Avenue in The Heights. You can read all about it here.

As for the newest member of this tasty triad, bwè kafe’s pop-up will operate on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8AM – 1PM. Per an Instagram story posted by staff, the pop-up will feature a limited menu of espresso drinks + drip coffees (which, if they’re anything like the Hoboken + Jersey City offerings, are going to be pretty delicious). As of now, it’s unclear how long the pop-up will run. Either way, we can’t wait to try it out.

Spring Sips at The Homefront

If you live a little ways away from The Heights but still want to get in on the bwè fun, we’ve got good news: the coffee shop‘s spring menu is officially here.

In the spotlight, of course, is bwè kafe’s famed Lavender Cold Brew Latte, which celebrates 5 years of filling our cups (and hearts) this year. To celebrate the milestone, bwè is introducing a “twin” beverage called Blueberry Cold Brew Latte, which sounds + looks equally delightful. When Drake said “If you had a twin, I would still choose you,” he obviously didn’t consider the bwè kafe spring menu.

The spring menu will be available at all bwè kafe locations. bwè shared with HG  that “All syrups are housemade and made with real flowers/fruits.” Did someone say YUM?!

This is the second piece of coffee-related news this week. A few days ago, we reported that a coffee school was coming to Hoboken in The Monroe Center. New Jersey coffee school he spot has various levels of classes + programs — from professional barista training courses to a class in at-home coffee hacks.
