City Race Challenge Raises Over $5,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters

unnamed

Hobbs Inc

The cloudy skies, rain and wind—and a sudden October chill in the air—didn’t stop the 1,225 fearless participants who showed up at the Hoboken waterfront early in the morning on October 1, 2016 to “take on the challenge” of the 4th Annual City Challenge Obstacle Race. This year’s race helped raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Essex, Hudson & Union Counties. Registrants were given the opportunity to make a contribution to the Big Brothers Big Sisters when signing up online, but most of the more than $5,000 raised was a direct contribution from the City Challenge organization, who had committed to donate a percentage of registration and sponsor fees. So glad to see this event was successful in help our local community!
