    April showers bring May flowers… and happy hours!  Naturally, we’re here to shower you with the best happy hour specials of the week. Chocolate + wine, MLB opening day specials, a spring cocktail tasting, free ice cream… the list goes on. Here’s your guide to the can’t miss specials going on in the Mile Square – and a few spring puns {sorry, not sorry}.

    Monday – April 3

    MLB Opening Day at Village Pourhouse

    Let baseball season commence with MLB Opening Day at Village Pourhouse {hands-down one of Hoboken’s greatest sports bars}. With over 20 HD flat screen TV’s to watch your team, you’re promised to catch all the action over pretzel crusted chicken tenders {mmm}, wings, and a couple of brews. FYI – sport your team’s jersey to score a free Bud Light Draft. 

    Tuesday – April 4

    Chocolate & Wine at Celebrate Life Studio

    Celebrate Life studio is hosting an event on Tuesday night from 6:30 to 8:30 PM that’ll most definitely satisfy your happy hour needs: a chocolate + wine  event for aspiring women entrepreneurs {register for the event here}. Join Tracy Robin, a certified transformational life and business coach, for a discussion on how sensuality + savoring affects success, both in the workplace and other areas life. It’s a great opportunity to learn some helpful tidbits of advice, network with others, and mingle over chocolate + wine, the ultimate dynamic duo indeed.

    So no, not your typical Hoboken happy hour, but really, what hour isn’t happy when you’ve got a free ice cream cone? Every year, Ben & Jerry’s gives out free cones to show their customers some ice cream love. And for all you Hobokenites who have trust issues with dairy – there’s a cone for you too! Ben & Jerry’s offers dairy free ice cream made with almond milk. Happy indeed.

    Wednesday – April 5

    Come to Jack & Co. on hump day for the 1/2-priced bottles of wine, but stay for the delish $6 pierogis {topped with balsamic caramelized onions + served with truffle sour cream, that is}.     Pennies From Heaven Charity Pub Crawl at House of Que

    This Saturday, the Pennies From Heaven Charity Pub Crawl will be taking place to raise money for families with critically ill children. The event starts at House of Que, where you can kick off  the crawl with $3 Coors Light drafts/PBR cans, $4 Shiner drafts, $5 house wines + Tito’s mixed drinks {as well as $25 t-shirts for the charity}.
