September brings mixed emotions for many of us — back to school, gearing up for pumpkin-spiced everything, wardrobes that involve layers, and football. But football is no longer just a sport that involves wings and beer. Football has become family time, Sunday night rituals, and where strangers can come together to root for the same team.

About Birch’s New Sunday Funday
Birch Hoboken is known for their nightlife, milkshakes, crazy brunches, and events. It’s become Hoboken’s one-stop-shop for all our fave things, and now we can add football Sunday’s to the list of things we love.
Birch is adding a giant 15-foot-wide screen on the second-floor bar. This screen will be playing the main game with sound, along with four to five smaller games underneath the main one. On the walls to the left and right of the bar will be two additional 70” screens. The main bar will be wrapped in LED panels, so guests will be able to see scrolling sports scores and stay up-to-date with other games.
On the third floor, there will be two LED walls made up of four screens on each side, eight in total. These screens will be playing either one big game or four different games on each wall.
Expect an authentic, yet unique viewing experience that will feel like you’re at the game. There will be a free popcorn station set up on the second floor and someone walking around selling beer out of a tub on their shoulder, complete with STADIUM SEATING. {It will literally be like you’re at the stadium but without the wind, cold-temps, and people blocking your view.} Birch will also be giving away t-shirts and hats throughout the day.
The Food and Drinks
Football isn’t complete without food and drinks, of course. So here’s what’s on the menu:
Guests will have a choice of a $20 unlimited Brunch Buffet on the first floor {bracelets will be provided to those participating} or they can enjoy the à la carte menu, which will have some new appetizers added to it {think nachos, tacos, and more}, along with the specialty dessert menu.
Drinks will include beer towers and beer buckets, champagne punch bowls, White Claw and hard seltzer buckets, mimosas and bloody Marys, bottle service menu, and the new Birch Sports Bottles {which are pre-mixed drinks served in customized Birch squirt bottles}.
If you’re drinking from the bar, take advantage of $4 domestic bottles and $3 green tea shots. You’ll also be able to order drinks in the Birch sports bottles for an additional fee, but you’ll get to keep the bottle. {Consider it good for the environment!}
The Sunday Party
Expect two to three DJ’s every Sunday, starting at 11:00AM. You’ll also find different brunch entertainment, ranging from aerialists, stilt walkers, magicians, led robots, and more. The NY Giants are kicking off Week 1, so Birch has lined up a drumline to kick off the season.
