A contemporary fashion boutique in the Mile Square, alba opened its doors back in 2013. At alba, the team believes in wardrobe building. Its classic and contemporary collections can take you from day to night, work to weekend, and everywhere in between. The Monroe Dress is a true must-have dress!  alba’s clients are loving the sophisticated style and length of this dress with a subtle cutout. The feel of this piece is ultra-luxe and can be styled all year long. It’s stocked in 5 colors (black, cream, red, mustard, kelly green & grey). The dress can be found in-store and online.

Sister boutique to uptown alba, a X d’s first location opened up in 2013, however, the store’s first Hoboken spot opened in 2019. a X d is a Hoboken hot spot for trend-forward shoppers. Everything is always under $100. It is the perfect boutique to stay with the season’s trends without having to spend too much. a X d loves staples like classic straight leg denim, cropped tops, sets, vegan leather, and cozy graphic sweatshirts. All of the inventory can be found online and in-store as well! If you send the shop a DM, a stylist can even virtually shop with you.

Brooke + Bel | 60 4th Street

This fresh, new boutique opened last year but that doesn’t mean it is new to the fashion industry. Owners Brooke and Sam have both worked for high-end fashion companies and small boutiques before opening Brooke + Bel. At Brooke + Bel, shoppers can find fashion finds that will elevate their wardrobes. Brooke + Bel’s must-haves for the season are tailored pants, oversized blazers, and neutrals tones. All of the items mentioned can be found online and in-store.

It was originally opened in 2016 at Maxwell Place and then transitioned to Grand Street in September 2020. ONE/SOL offers athletic wear, athleisure wear, contemporary casual clothing, accessories, bags, shoes, jewelry, local and wellness products. Marisol, the owner’s, top priority in clothing is comfort, color, and feel. But her must-have item is the roam shoes. The shoes are ethically made, super supportive, super comfortable, super versatile, and warm for those cooler days.  The shoes come in great styles of faux fur and a variety of colors.
