Aries: Lady Gaga or Walter White from Breaking Bad

Being an Aries herself, Lady Gaga is a trendsetter and a fashionista. Pick from any of her iconic looks, from Poker Face to the Met Gala. Walter White from Breaking Bad doesn’t display full ram fire until later in the series, but as an enterprising chemist full of surprises, he is definitely Aries energy.

Taurus: Frida Kahlo or Guy Fieri

As a painter of nature and artifacts in Mexico, Frida Kahlo is a fully Venusian icon. Even with her signature flower crown, she gives full Taurus vibes. On the flip side, a TV personality with a recognizable look that made his career out of his love for food, we can determine that Guy Fieri is not only a fun costume but is definitely aligned with the Taurus sensibility.

Gemini: the Twins from The Shining or Dennis from Split

You might have to grab a friend for this twins costume {or go solo and embody the full spooky energy}, but either way, the twins are synonymous with Gemini {don’t forget to say “come play with us” in your best creepy voice}.

Now onto Dennis. In one of James McAvoy’s most interesting roles, he displays the duality {or multiplicity} of the Gemini personality. And as a plus, you can pick any version of Dennis you desire.

Cancer: Peg Bundy from Married…with Children or Mr. Rogers

As the mother of the zodiac, Cancers can look no further than Peg Bundy to channel the warmth that these crabs carry. Plus she’s got some pinch to her, which makes her the perfect Cancer costume.

Alternatively, the compassion Mr. Rogers had for everyone is very Cancerian as well. Grab a red sweater and you’re set — it’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

Leo: Regina George from Mean Girls or the Joker

As the queen of North Shore High, Regina George encompasses is full Leo passion. She is the center of attention and looks great doing it. Take some scissors to your favorite tank top and set some trends.

As a blockbuster hit this year, the Joker embodies full Leo vibes, too. While portraying the darker side of  what desiring attention can do to a person, the Joker will certainly be an iconic look this Halloween. Wanting to forever be in the spotlight and spreading joy + laughter is definitely the name of the game for Leo.

Virgo: Leslie Knope from Parks and Recreation or Adrian Monk from Monk

Forever the go-getter and spreadsheet queen, Leslie Knope is the Virgo epitome. Being a powerful woman who leads with service, she is the perfect costume for any Virgin goddess. Adrian Monk, however, is meticulous to a fault and displays just how important attention to detail can be. Working on behalf of the public, Monk solves crimes the only way a Virgo can.

Libra: Cher Horowitz from Clueless or Chidi Anagonye from The Good Place

Fashion icon, sweet + flirty Beverly Hills babe, and one who always acts according to her morals, Cher Horowitz is the embodiment of a Libra. As if!

While on the outside he may seem indecisive, Chidi is a justice warrior, as any true Libra would be. He is also quite the romantic, though he may be hesitant to act on it. Grab yourself a philosophy book and a sweater vest and flex those Libra muscles.

Scorpio: Beatrix Kiddo from Kill Bill or John Wick from John Wick

With her eyes set on revenge, The Bride, aka Beatrix Kiddo, is a full Scorpio mood. Whether you opt for a wedding dress or the classic yellow jumpsuit, Beatrix Kiddo is both sexy and avenging.

Similarly, John Wick’s constant state of vengeance {and effortlessly put-together style despite being an action man} point to the scorpion this Halloween

Sagittarius: Daenarys Targaryan from Game of Thrones or Ron Burgundy from Anchorman

Queen of Dragons and fire mama Dany has conquered many worlds but flew off the handle when spurned. As the sign of expansion, even when what’s being expanded is in poor judgment, Daenarys is a true Sag.

Alternatively, total goofball who has his own philosophies on what to report, Ron Burgundy depicts the funnier side of the Archer. Stay classy San Diego {ahem, Hudson County}.

Capricorn: Miranda Priestly from Devil Wears Prada or Jon Snow from Game of Thrones

Climbing the ranks of the fashion world, Miranda Priestly gives us full Capricorn vibes. She may seem cold, but she knows what she’s doing.

Taking strategic, yet careful steps throughout the series to climb to the top, Jon Snow displays real mountain goat characteristics. Grab that fur cloak, because winter is coming {seriously, it’s around the corner now}.

Aquarius: Maeve Millay from Westworld or David Bowie

A robot with sentience is more Aquarian than ever. Maeve is smart, fierce, and also not of this world. As for  David Bowie, the Star Man is the Aquarian dream. With an array of silver, glitter, and lightning bolts, this is the perfect costume for any water bearer.

Pisces: the Little Mermaid or Aquaman

Being the fish of the zodiac, it’s only proper to give this red-headed mermaid to Pisces. Channel your inner Neptune and get Under the Sea. Similarly to Ariel, Aquaman is an iconic fish. Whether you want to flex your muscles as Jason Momoa or go more classic comic book style, this Piscean superhero is sure to make a splash!

Whether or not you relate to your Sun, Moon, or Rising, there’s a huge array of costumes for you to choose from. Remember to have fun with it and to celebrate safely.
