FINALLY! One of our favorite meal delivery services in Hudson County, Busy Bee Organics, is opening a brick-and-mortar in the Heights of Jersey City this Sunday, August  18th. Michelle Berckes, owner of {oh-so-popular} Busy Bee Organics, is expanding her business and opening up a new hive in Jersey City Heights at 451 Palisade Avenue. The storefront will feature grab and go breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack items from their Busy Bee menu, as well as carrying delicious items from healthy neighborhood hotspot menus, too. For those not familiar with the original Busy Bee Organics, it is a plant-forward, nutritionally balanced meal delivery company serving the Hoboken and Jersey City area. Michelle has extensive experience as a private and executive chef and is also a certified Nutritionist and Natural Food Chef and together, with her outstanding team, they will continue curating meals and snacks for delivery as well as selling them at their new café.

When she first began, nearly five years ago, Michelle’s company started as a pop up at the Grove Street Farmers Market. She was a huge hit there. People loved the idea of healthy options to grab-and-go. Busy Bee Organics found so much success that Michelle began delivering out of her car all winter long. The local superstar for followed her dream and created such a booming business that has given so many people the opportunity to start and maintain a healthy lifestyle, and her newest endeavor as a café owner, too.

What to Expect in the Shop

Michelle plans on selling flavorful vegan and vegetarian meals, nutrient-filled bone broths, gluten-free bakery items, and many more unique items. She and her team are also testing out some super innovative ideas and are excited to share them with everyone. In addition to the grab and go menu items, the new shop will have indoor seating overlooking the park and the NYC skyline, too.

Grab some food and enjoy it in the shop or bring it home to eat. Michelle’s main goal is to help people maintain a healthy lifestyle by providing access to healthy meals and a break from the city hustle in her cozy and relaxed new space.

The refrigerators will be stocked with fresh, healthy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack options for guests to pick up at their convenience. They can also enjoy a meal in the comfort of the café. Michelle stresses that Busy Bee’s hours will be based on the needs of her community, but anticipates the store will be open from 7:00AM-6:00PM. Busy Bee delivery service fans, fear not! Lovers of Busy Bee will still be able to enroll in the service, the new store will just serve as an additional place to pick up pre-cooked meals,
