East LA | 508 Washington Street

East LA will go down in history for Hoboken’s most popular frozen margaritas but don’t sleep on the food. Known for its outstanding barbeque, the House of ‘Que serves up some of the most authentic Texas barbeque in Hudson County. While the locale proudly offers classic Texas barbeque, it also has some more adventurous fare including some delicious nachos and a nacho/french fry hybrid that’s to die for. Patrons can’t go wrong with either.

Sure, you can find traditional things, but it’s their more adventurous dishes that really shine, specifically, their take on nachos. Orale’s nachos feature some of the more common fix-ins, but the star is the duck confit. Orale is also open for brunch, which brings a fun twist to the already interesting nachos: eggs.
