Jersey City has welcomed a new cafe to the apartment complex 351 Marin, located at 351 Marin Boulevard. Almost Home General, serving coffee drinks, breakfast + lunch, pastries, and more, opened its doors on September 3rd, 2025. About Almost Home General + the New Spot
Almost Home General is the newest cafe to open in Jersey City. The new spot marks the group’s second cafe to debut inside one of a residential property, with the first being The Cafe Presented by Almost Home, located within Journal Squared at 595 Pavonia Avenue. Almost Home General mirrors the first outpost in that it connects directly to 351 Marin’s lobby, allowing its residents to access the cafe from inside.

Operating in a 1,000-square-foot space at 351 Marin, the spot serves a full breakfast and lunch menu featuring breakfast sandwiches, waffles, avocado toast, cheesesteaks, buffalo Caesar wraps, pastries, and more.

The menu offerings also include coffee, tea, and creative espresso drinks like The Cereal Latte, which is “a nod to childhood mornings with milk from the cereal bowl,” per a press release sent to The Hoboken Girl. The drink features the flavors of a different breakfast cereal every month. All coffee-based drinks are also made from “the best single-origin coffees from around the world,” per the Almost Home team. Food and drink delivery is available for patrons as well.
Diners are also encouraged to share their thoughts on the menu. “Customers help shape the menu,” the team said. “They are always invited to share their ideas. Some of the café’s biggest hits, like the Key Lime Latte, were based on customer suggestions.”
The space itself boasts lounge seating, a plethora of tables, and an outdoor area, which “overlooks a series of elevated garden beds, staggered concrete blocks, and mini water fountains on 351 Marin’s public plaza,” as per the press release.
“We are thrilled to partner with KRE Group for a second time as we work together to set the standard for amazing local brands opening in residential lobby settings,” Robert Doran, founder of Almost Home General, said in the press release. “We want to be a true asset to the community and create a relaxed, refreshing experience for our customers.”
Almost Home General at 351 Marin is open seven days a week from 7AM to 3PM.
