New Jersey is filled with a multitude of adventurous things to do for all types of adrenaline junkies out there, including ziplining. While some of the ziplining courses are closed, keep this list handy for when they reopen soon in the warmer months. Keep reading for a list — updated regularly— of ziplining spots in New Jersey.

FLG X New Jersey {59 Mount Arlington Road, Ledgewood}

FLG X New Jersey provides a safe, fun, physical, and unique outdoor experience. FLG X NJ challenges guests to push their limits and overcome their fears in a supportive environment and creates an opportunity to build relationships with friends + family. Ziplining at FLG X NJ is ideal for adults and kids 12 and up. The course takes about two hours and the prices start at $55. Apart from the ziplines, there are also adventure courses for adults and kids 9 and up which include multiple large circuits each containing a mixture of obstacles and ziplines.

Essex County TreeTop Adventure Course {560 Northfield Avenue, West Orange}

The Essex County TreeTop Adventure Course is located in the South Mountain Recreation Complex which also houses the Essex County Turtle Back Zoo and an array of other fun places. The adult courses for TreeTop Adventure are approximately 35 feet in height and offer 30 unique challenge elements with an average run time of one to one and a 1/2 hours. The junior courses are approximately 10 feet in height and offer 15 unique challenge elements with an average run time of 30 to 45 minutes. The redesigned Zipline measures over a football field in length and stands at approximately 40 feet. You don’t need to enter The Essex County Turtle Back Zoo in order to enter the Treetop Adventure Course. The zipline course starts at $15 with add-ons available. The adventure and zipline courses are for adults and kids six+.

Mountain Creek {200 NJ-94, Vernon Township}

Mountain Creek isn’t just for skiing or snowboarding! Zipline tours are also offered over the mountain-top lake. The zipline tours are $49 per person. All guests must be at least 60 pounds and 48 inches tall and must be under 270 pounds to take part. COVID-19 protocols are currently in place. If you’re in the mood for more adventurous fun, Mountain Creek also has over 167 skiable acres, fifty trails of mountain biking, a farm, a zoo, and more. The resort includes a hot tub + pool and has everything from bunny slopes to black diamond level trails, long groomers, and night skiing.

The Mainland Adventure Park {151 NJ-72, Manahawkin}

The Mainland Adventure Park is a great place for ziplining if you’re bringing kids! It’s the Jersey Shore’s newest attraction, featuring high-flying fun for guests of all ages. Level 1 courses are perfect for kids aged four and up and the zipline courses are for kids ages seven and up. The extended zipline courses fly over the go-kart track for an exciting show. The adventure park also has a go-kart track, a climbing wall, an aerial course, and more. The Mainland Adventure will reopen in the spring.

TreEscape Aerial Adventure Park {414 County Road 517, Vernon Township}

Located in Vernon, TreEscape Aerial Adventure Ropes Courses is a unique blend of wooden platforms built high in the trees and connected by exhilarating combinations of rope walks, obstacles, climbing elements, and ziplines all located in a forest setting. Courses range from purple {easiest} to yellow, green, blue, and black {expert}. Each participant’s fitness level will determine how many and which courses they can complete in the three-hour timeframe. Night climbing is also available every Saturday Night in July from 8-11PM. Prices for adults are $53 for three hours, $45 for kids 7-11PM, and $25 for kids 4-6PM. Treescape will open for weekends starting March 27th and will operate on a full schedule after Memorial Day.

Tree to Tree Adventure Park {707 Route 9 North, Cape May Court House}

Tree to Tree Adventure Park is an aerial adventure course featuring ziplines, nets, Tarzan swings, and other fun obstacles for every age and ability. The Park offers over 100 aerial adventure activities divided into color-coded courses for kids, youth, and adults. All of the attractions require hands-on interaction. The courses have different levels that get more difficult and higher up as you progress. Each course has a series of unique obstacle elements such as ladders, tight ropes, balance beams, and wobbly bridges. Prices start at $35 for a self-guided zipline tour for people ages ten and up and include one course and five ziplines. Guests will receive a training session prior. Trained guides patrol all courses from the ground. Tree to Tree will reopen on May 1st.
