No matter what sport you favor — hockey, football, reality TV finales — it’s almost guaranteed there’s a Hoboken bar to match your preference. Two significant soccer matches are scheduled for this Sunday (UEFA European Championship + Copa América Final), and if you can’t make it to Germany or Miami, allow us to point you toward your next best option: local bars. Several Hoboken + Jersey City sports bars are gearing up to stream both of the big games this weekend, and we’ve got them all for you right here. Keep reading for a list of Hoboken + Jersey City soccer bars streaming the UEFA European Championship and the Copa América Final.

Word to the wise: The UEFA European Championship starts at 3PM and the Copa América Final starts at 8PMWe recommend getting to each locale at least a half-hour early.

Hoboken

Finnegan’s Pub | 734 Willow Avenue

Finnegans Pub

Finnegan’s is a neighborhood destination for those cozy Irish pub vibes. It’ll be streaming both games this Sunday, with its usual menu of delicious eats (order the wings and tater tots) and libations.

House of ‘Que | 340 Sinatra Drive

House of ‘Que is the place to go for some delicious BBQ during the game(s) — and it’ll be streaming both this Sunday. There are TVs everywhere you look, so you’ll never miss a single play. House Of ‘Que also has open-air garage doors and a picnic table set up to pair with a perfect view of Manhattan — which we love.

The Station Hoboken

Mulligan’s | 159 1st Street

At the time of the bar’s opening in 2000, it was difficult to get the European feeds to stream soccer games, but owner Paul was committed to sharing the sport with the Hoboken community. Now, Mulligan’s has earned its reputation as Hoboken’s premiere soccer bar, boasting a space populated by numerous televisions, sports memorabilia, and dedicated sports fans brimming with energy.

Owned by husband-and-wife duo, Bill and Maren Schmitt, Schmitty’s is a dog-friendly sports bar with an adorable outdoor space. Earlier this year, the team went hard for Croatia’s EuroCup games, taking over First Street as fans watched the games on a projector (see post above).

The Shepherd + The Knucklehead | 1313 Willow Avenue

The Shep is perhaps uptown Hoboken’s best-kept secret (if it is a secret at all). Located right across from Trader Joe’s, this family-friendly spot has an impressive beer and food selection. This weekend, it’ll be streaming both games — and if you’re not a soccer fan, it’s probably worth it to make the trip anyway.

Outside of the cozy brick walls and open space, The Brightside Tavern boasts friendly staff and delicious bar classics. It also provides near-constant specials and hearty American fare with a twist, including must-try rice and beans. With a long list of burgers to try, plus classic wings with different sauces, this spot makes for a delicious and fun game-day experience.

The Hutton | 225 Hutton Street

Tucked away in Jersey City Heights is The Hutton, a destination for eats and sports alike. The Hutton is streaming both games this Sunday and promises a lively environment for fans to enjoy.

This European-style bar has self-serve American cuisine and a family-friendly atmosphere for all types of sports events. Take even the littlest soccer fans for a day on the town at Zeppelin Hall, where for-the-table platters and kids’ menus are also available. Parking can be tough, so we recommend taking public transportation or Uber/Lyft — which is always a plus if you’re going to drink.
