Amanda’s | 908 Washington Street A, Hoboken
This Argentinian-American eatery has been a staple in town for over 30 years. It’s located in a historic 19th-century brownstone and there’s a cozy fireplace in the library room. Some of the rooms can be rented out if you’re planning to host a holiday party. Brunch and dinner are often accompanied by live music, plus there’s even an early bird dinner special. We especially love the house-made Argentinian empanadas and the Belgian waffles topped with dulce de leche.

Camp Hamilton | 706 Jersey Avenue, Jersey City
Camp Hamilton is a perfect option for those winter nights when it’s not quite so cold. But don’t worry, there are heaters and fire pits in this backyard bar if you start to get chilly. It’s an offshoot of Hamilton Inn and the full menu, including brunch, is available on winter weekends.
Carpe Diem | 1405 Grand Street, Hoboken
We love settling in for a drink at Carpe Diem, especially when we’re lucky enough to snag one of the fireside armchairs. It’s an Irish pub with some hearty dishes, like Shepard’s Pie and Mushroom Soup, to warm you up on cold winter nights. They make a great boozy hot chocolate for some additional cozy winter vibes.
Corgi Spirits Distillery | 1 Distillery Drive, Jersey City
Corgi Spirits are available in liquor stores around Hoboken + Jersey City but stop by the tasting room to enjoy a seasonal craft cocktail made from the delicious gin, whiskey, or vodka. There’s a large English-inspired sitting room complete with a fireplace to sip a Corgi Cuppa or another cozy drink.

This ivy-covered eatery features a leafy patio for warmer months, but step inside for a table in the cozy dining room. While it may be known as a sports bar, Willie McBrides can be a cozy hangout when there isn’t a game on.
