The Academy became a National Blue Ribbon School in 2017 and continues to maintain high academic standards. The curriculum includes project-based STEM elements and covers religion, language arts, reading, social studies, math, science, world language, art, music, and physical education.

Computer literacy is a key part of the curriculum as well. The campus is 100% WiFi and technology is integrated into all aspects of the classroom experience.

Faith formation is essential to the student experience at the local academy. Catholic ideals, values, and virtues are cultivated and practiced at the Hoboken Catholic Academy on a daily basis.

“The students of Hoboken Catholic Academy do not only represent academic excellence, but they truly are caring and involved global citizens. Through rigorous academics and a deep understanding of Catholic values, our students look to be change agents in today’s society,” Lisa said.

The Student Experience

A variety of teaching methods are used in the classrooms to help students engage with complex academic concepts and reach their full potential at Hoboken Catholic Academy. They develop critical-thinking skills that prepare them to enter some of the most competitive high schools in New Jersey and New York City, according to Lisa.

Students at Hoboken Catholic Academy are also given the tools to become Christ-centered leaders. Community service projects are conducted at every grade level so students can fulfill the Gospel message and support the needs of others.
