On the Creation of The Power Couple
Wedding planning services can be costly — something that Jacquelyn knows well, as a seasoned 10-year veteran of the business and owner of The Wedding Plan & Company.
“To date, the only way to have a wedding planner was to invest in a traditional wedding planner or to hire a month-of planner. But what about all of those couples in between? Power Couple is the solution for those couples who want control over the wedding vision but also want the reassurance of an expert planner,” she shared with Hoboken Girl.
What It Entails
The newly-debuted wedding planning subscription service is $179 per month up until your wedding, making it more affordable for couples, as most full-service planners can range from $7,000 to even more than $10,000. The service is offered virtually throughout the country for brides and grooms.

The monthly subscription offers you a dedicated wedding planner from Jacquelyn’s experienced team, 1:1 virtual planning session that occurs monthly, a wedding planning app, having exclusive access to special benefits and discounts from their most trusted local wedding professionals, having extra Zoom sessions, and the ability to add on their already famous Month-of Coordination services which can also happen in person. The goal is to make the wedding planning experience less stressful for the couple at a price that is accessible to all.

The service makes it easier to find the comfort of planning your wedding, while the COVID-19 pandemic still is playing a huge role in day-to-day living and how may go about their day.
“There are the classic couples that want to use a full-service wedding planner and then there are the ‘Power Couples’ who want to be hands-on in the process but could also use a real planner to turn to for questions, to stay on track, and to weigh in where needed as they plan. Up until now, the latter group really has had no other option than to go it alone. That’s what the monthly subscription service is all about!” Jacquelyn shared.

The Launch
Jacquelyn and all of her team members have been working for more than a decade on planning beautiful weddings for diverse couples in both the Northeast and California. The Power Couple wedding planning subscription launched on April 28th throughout the country. The Power Couple was created around feedback from that Jacquelyn received over the thousands of consultation calls when couples would repeatedly say “we don’t mind doing the leg work but we just need somebody to guide us through each step to make sure that we aren’t making mistakes and are using the best vendors” – and Jacquelyn listened.
“Say goodbye to confusing spreadsheets,” Jacquelyn laughs. “With a dedicated planner and an online wedding planning dashboard that has everything they need to plan their wedding with one simple log-in.”
The team plans weddings throughout the country, but this subscription service is a great way for couples to be able to enjoy the process, take part in it (should they choose), and leave the rest up to The Wedding Plan & Company.
“We have preferred, vetted and trusted vendors and venues in Hoboken, New York City, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Dallas, Palm Beach, and Miami,” Jacquelyn shared. “Our flagship locations in Hoboken and Los Angeles are focused on wedding planning in those areas, but with our virtual monthly wedding planning subscription couples all over the country can have access to expert guidance with a dedicated planner.”
