In celebration of its upcoming 1-year anniversary this month, the Jersey City studio will be hosting a weekend anniversary event for the local community. On Saturday, October 28th and Sunday, October 29th, Club Pilates Jersey City will have FREE 30-minute intro classes for prospective students to try out the studio and see what Club Pilates is all about. Classes + Passes
The studio provides a variety of classes at four different levels — ranging from 1 to 2.5 — making it easy to find a class that fits your needs. While starting a new workout routine can feel intimidating, a free 30-minute introduction class is a great way to get a taste of what is expected during a Club Pilates full class. Classes at Club Pilates in Jersey City include:
Reformer Flow (Level 1 to 2.5) A signature, contemporary reformer class dedicated to strengthening and lengthening the body while improving balance and coordination using the Springboard, chair, mat, and more.
Cardio Sculpt (Level 1 to 2) A high-energy, low-impact class meant to raise your heart rate by engaging in plyometric movements against the Springboard.
Control (Level 1.5 to 2) A functional training class that aims to sculpt your legs and glutes using the Reformer, gliding disks, fitness ball, and free weights.
Suspend (Level 1.5 to 2) A Reformer-based workout that combines pilates and TRX to enhance strength, coordination, mobility, and balance.
Restore (Level 1 to 1.5) A class that incorporates foam rolling and Trigger Point therapy to reduce soreness and increase performance.
Center + Balance (Level 1 to 2) A class that focuses on light movements and deep stretching to keep your body feeling loose and functional.

What to Expect
Classes at Club Pilates are designed to meet the needs of all members. Whether looking for a high-intensity workout or something more relaxed, the studio has various options.
To prep for your first class, we recommend arriving a few minutes earlier to sign in, tour the studio, fill out forms, and prep for class. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle and a sweat towel to each class. The studio has a Flowater filtered water dispenser, making for an easy and sustainable way to hydrate.
As for attire – members should wear form-fitting, breathable clothing, tie back hair, and remove any jewelry and accessories for safety. Club Pilates requires grip socks to be worn in class and are necessary for proper function on the machines — trust us on this one — and are available for purchase at the studio.
About the Studio
The Jersey City studio opened in November 2022 and specializes in reformer fusion classes for all shapes and sizes. This studio, along with the Hoboken and West New York studios is owned by local Hoboken resident, Emese Horvath, who is taking the Hudson waterfront by storm.
