We already know that Hoboken’s yearly Movies Under the Stars series is a local favorite, and now there are some fall movie events coming to Jersey City to enjoy during the crisp, fall weather. Liberty House and Maddy Rose Restaurant, along with Nathan’s Famous, will be hosting a free weekly movie night on Wednesdays in October on the lawn outside Liberty House in Jersey City. The Details

Enjoying a summer movie under the stars in the warm weather is always a good time, but this movie series will let locals enjoy the cooler fall weather under the stars. Each Wednesday for the month of October 2023, Movies in the Park will be held for free on the lawn outside Liberty House (aka Liberty State Park) across from the Nathan’s stand — the address is 76 Audrey Zapp Drive in Jersey City.

Each Halloween-themed, kid-friendly movie will start at 6:30PM each week, weather dependent. Specific movies have not been announced yet, but keep checking Liberty House’s Instagram as well as Maddy Rose’s Instagram for weekly updates and movie announcements.

While the events are free, food and drinks will be available for purchase at the Nathan’s stand if looking for some snacks to accompany the movie. This series is hosted by Liberty House, Maddy Rose, and Nathan’s Famous.
