We love that the spa uses Biologique Recherche, a luxe French brand used in the most elite spas around the world. Each session costs $110, which is one of the more affordable options in the area. At Studio 17, Dr. Walter, an MD, and Grace, a licensed esthetician, go above and beyond to make their clients feel comfortable and get that glow. The studio uses the diamond tip rather than the crystal tip, which is less abrasive and does serious work.
“Microderm is great for anyone who needs a deep clean from dead skin cells and those with deep, old acne scars,” she explained. Dr. Walter suggests combining microderm with micro-needling, which will work in harmony to even out skin tone and texture. It is also recommended that patients receive microderm twice monthly in order to see results. Taking a break during the summer is recommended and resuming in the fall is important to remember.
