Written by:

A new business called Lovesac will soon be coming to Washington Street in Hoboken. A Stamford, CT-based shop called Lovesac is opening at 302 Washington Street. Lovesac is known for two things: their convertible sofas called Sactionals and their oversized bean bags called Sacs. Read on to learn more about Lovesac and what to expect in the Hoboken location.

Sactionals, also referred to as “the world’s most adaptable couch,” are rearrangeable {kind of like a rubik’s cube}, changeable with more than 250+ cover options, and washable. There are also add-ons including the Sactionals Power Hub to charge all your devices without leaving your couch, and the option for the Sactionals Storage Seat for extra storage.

The Sacs, also referred to as “the world’s most comfortable seat,” is available in different shapes and sizes: The BigOne — fitting four people, the Supersac — fitting three people, the MovieSac and PillowSac — fitting two people, and the Citysac and Gamersac for one. The Sacs are filled with proprietary Durafoam blend – not the beans or beads that make a mess if broken – and various covers to update the color of your Sac.

“They’re perfect for the Hoboken customer because they’re sold in individual pieces,” Lovesac’s New York District Manager Pam Panacciulli told Hoboken Girl. “They’re customizable – you choose your insert fill in your cushions, and it comes fast and free via FedEx in one to two weeks.”

Lovesac’s shipments consist of multiple boxes so carrying is made easier. Prices are on the higher-end {mid-hundreds to a couple of thousands depending on the style and number of pieces you select} but has pretty high reviews.

“We believe your furniture is something you can continue to invest in, expand, and evolve over time so that it continues to meet your needs, rather than having to add it to the landfill,” the company’s website states. “Whether you’re looking for a sectional couch, bean bag chair, outdoor furniture, or even just an ottoman, our Hudson County area showroom has something to fit your needs.”
