The latest in a wave of NYC-based restaurants to expand to the Hudson County area is Just Salad. With over 50 locations in the big city alone, the chain has become well known with locals across the river. The newest Just Salad location in New Jersey will be its Hoboken shop at 114 Washington Street — and on May 19th, salad-covered signs were spotted hung up on the storefront, meaning its arrival is inching closer. Read on for more details about the new Just Salad coming to Hoboken.
Just Salad Coming to Hoboken
The salad spot will be taking over the Banco Popular location situated next to Sticky’s, another NYC-based restaurant that made its way over and opened recently in Hoboken. Other restaurants on the block are Shaka Bowl, La Isla, Honeygrow, and Precious. The storefront was spotted on May 19th with a sign in the window that says, “Raise your salad standards.” There’s also a sign on the door announcing that the store is now hiring.
Just Salad is all about eating healthy and sustainability, according to its website. Customers who dine in-house will notice that the bowls that the salads are served in are reusable – as part of its ‘zero waste’ vision which vowed to send nothing to landfills by the end of 2022.
The menu boasts 21 ‘cold’ salad dishes and 8 ‘warm’ salad options. Patrons also have the option to build their own salads. Other items include a range of soups, wraps, avocado toast, plant-based smoothies, and bottled pressed juices.
