After a successful premier last weekend, Hudson Theatre Ensemble is back for round two with John Cariani’s Almost, Maine, an enchanting collection of vignettes about ordinary people in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Poignant, funny, and smart, Almost, Maine is wonderfully whimsical as well as down-to- earth. This is a play to love— for its quirkiness and its unabashed romantic spirit. The show will take place at the Hudson School Performance Space located at 601 Park Avenue (6th & Park) Hoboken, NJ 07030. Tickets are $20 for General Admission and $15 for seniors & students. So while this may not be a specific event, we always think it’s eventful when a new restaurant opens- especially one with NYC views. Blue Eyes Restaurant opens this Sunday at 525 Sinatra Drive. This adorable space is right near the soccer fields down on Sinatra and will boast some of the best views from Hoboken. The menu offers wood-fired pizzas, pasta, appetizers, paninis, desserts, gelato & assorted coffees. In the Spring and Summer months they will have outdoor seating {yay!}.
