When one door closes, another opens. Hoboken and Jersey City have seen many great businesses close down due to the strains of the pandemic, but there’s a silver lining for locals, as the two towns have seen a gradual uptick in new businesses coming to town. Fruiti Fi is the latest business to make its debut in uptown Hoboken. Read on to learn more about what to expect at this new smoothie bar located at 1404 Grand Street.

Fruiti Fi was created by Isa. This was his first venture in the food industry — and as a Hoboken resident, he’ll be focusing on juices and smoothies to add to the health food scene in town.
It’s no secret that Hoboken is prime picking for businesses as the Mile Square is home to thousands of residents who love to explore new eateries in town.

Fruiti Fi is certainly a catchy name, and the story behind it is all about good vibes. “We wanted something fun and felt that it went with the language of wifi, Spotify, etc. But also, Fruiti Fi has an island theme — as Isa is from Trinidad — so we wanted to keep that fun vibe going,” he told Hoboken Girl. “This also inspired our original mural painted by my very talented friend.”

The couple understands that many people don’t want to spend hours researching nutrition or making their own juices and smoothies or your midday lunch break is just five minutes, and you’re looking for a way to feed your body with what feels and tastes good, without opting for fast-food that leaves your energy low and your body sluggish. Fruiti Fi’s mission, according to its owners, is to make it a no-brainer to choose the healthy option that you actually enjoy.

The smoothie bar will offer fruit-based clean juices and more. “We use a juice press from Good Nature {a juice brand}, which in their words, is clean, consistent in color, contains no foam or chunks, and stays fresh for days. We offer juice that’s simple, raw, and memorable — the way nature intended.” All of the smoothies and juices will cost $8.
