No strangers to the area, Anthony owns Cherry’s Lounge Bar + Grill on MLK Drive, while Jermaine owns Light Rail Cafe on Randolph Avenue. Life of Pie will be the third venture between the two of them, as lifelong Greenville neighborhood residents. Like many locals, Anthony and Jermaine actually met as children, in a little league squad in 1985.

About Cherry’s Lounge Bar + Grill

The founder of Cherry’s Lounge, Mr. Leroy H, served as the owner and sole proprietor from 1980 – 2000. He was a longshoreman, a proud member of the Friendship Masonic Lodge in Jersey City, and a lifetime member of the NAACP. Not only a great happy hour spot with delicious American bites, but Cherry’s Lounge has also been a source of fundraising and sponsorships for various groups in the community, and an employer of local residents.

About Light Rail Cafe

A hidden gem in Jersey City, owned by Ward F Councilman Jermaine Robinson. Light Rail Cafe serves up delicious fare. A great, family-oriented neighborhood spot, we highly recommend the JC Cheesesteak sandwich and the wings.
