By this time of year, we have all consumed our fair share of pumpkin spiced lattes and pumpkin infused coffees…and it’s almost time to call it a day. But since it’s still technically fall till December 21st and the “Season of Harvest” — apple, cloves, chai, sweet potato, turmeric are still very much in-season — and we’re loving them.

TBH, we don’t know who decided that pumpkin was the only star of the fall show, so we’ve rounded up some of the season’s other best flavors and where to find them in Hoboken {and a little of Jersey City}. Here are 10 fall-flavored treats you must try in Hudson County:

Here, some of the menu classics have their time to shine during the autumn months. The Prohibition Pig Cocktail is one — a nice collaboration of notes of apple and maple allow this year-round drink to double as a fall star. Brass Rail also has rotating seasonal beers on tap so stop in and be surprised {plus their wine on tap is something to write home about}.

Any time “seasonal” is in the name, you can bet that the freshest items are used to make the most delicious of foods. Sorellina has a Seasonal Bruschetta Appetizer which includes the starting line-up of classic fall flavors—roasted spaghetti squash, candied pumpkin seeds, honey, pecan, and pine nut aioli. During this time of year, all of these flavors are in full harvest and Sorellina is putting them to work.

Apple pie often gets overlooked during the Fall because of the coveted pumpkin pie, but it’s one of our go-to’s at this time of year. GFG is doing it right. Crisp dough filled with smooth, warm apples topped with a sweet crumble makes for the perfect treat.
