This Sunday from 11AM-4PM, Main Street Pops and the Hoboken Business Alliance present an Artisan Market Holiday Showcase, popping up at Hoboken’s Lackawanna Ferry Terminal, located at 1 Hudson Place in Hoboken. The event will be an expanded version of Main Street Pops’ popular Artisan Market featuring unique handmade gifts from local artisans including jewelry, art, home decor, artisanal foods, pet gifts, + much more. The event will also feature holiday music from local performers such as the Fuzzy Lemons, the Hoboken High School Marching Band and chorus, carolers from All Saints Episcopal Church Adult Choir, DJ Tim “Tim Dawg” Nelson, and more. Plus, Santa will be making a special visit at 12PM, taking photos with visitors. Not to mention, the City will offer market shoppers who display a receipt for a purchase of $20 or more, 50% off parking at Garage B, located at 28 Second Street.

Hoboken Public Library, located at 500 Park Avenue in Hoboken, hosts educational events throughout the year in an effort to bring local residents together where experiential learning can happen in a safe, welcoming space where all are welcome. Last week, the Library held a very special event about The Flow Initiative to help educate the community about period poverty and screened Pandora’s Box: Lifting the Lid on Menstruation. A full list of education programs and fun events at the Hoboken Public Library can be found on the website.  HPL library cards are free and easy to sign up for via their online application.

Pilsener Haus Biergarten’s New Year’s Eve Events

Events Guide Featured Event Pilsener Haus Biergarten New Years Eve Event
This New Year’s Eve, Pilsener Haus Biergarten, located at 1422 Grand Street in Hoboken is hosting four events — two events during the day for families and two events in the evening.

During the day from 11AM-2PM or 3PM-6PM, families can celebrate with a New Year’s brunch or midday celebration including small bites, a cash bar, and kid activities for just $30 per adult and $20 per kids ages 3-16 years old (kids under age 3 are free).

Later at night from 8:30PM-1:00AM, there will two separate events for adults including a NYE Bash at Pilsener Haus and NYE Masquerade at Kolo Klub. The Masquerade upstairs at Kolo Klub will include music from DJ Juan Arroyo and feature an open bar, light hors d’oeuvres, party favors, and a Champagne toast for $75 per adult.

The NYE Bash at Pilsener Haus will Include a live music performance from Whiskey Fueled until 11:30PM with DJ FLOCEAN ringing in the new year till 1:30AM. The event will also include Biergarten eats, an open bar, party favors, and champagne toast. Tickets for the NYE Bash are $100 per adult if bought before December 14th and $125 per adult if bought after December 14th.

Hope House, an emergency shelter for homeless women with children, helps families become self-sufficient by giving them an opportunity for decision-making and for assuming responsibility for improving their situation under the supervision, support, and guidance of shelter staff.
