It’s staying lighter later outside, the weather is warming up, and spring is in full swing — which means it’s prime farmers’ market season. This year, a new market has been added to the mix. The Coles Street Market made its debut at Coles Street Park in Jersey City on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024, and will continue through December 10th. The Details

Jersey City’s newest farmer and artisan market, Coles Street Market, officially opened up on Tuesday, April 16th, and will continue on Tuesdays through December 10th, 2024 from 3PM to 7PM. The market is curated by SocietyX.

Coles Street Market announced the news via Instagram on February 26th:

“Exciting News! Join us on April 16th, 3pm-7pm, as we launch Coles Street Market – an elevated farmers market experience at Coles Street Park, every Tuesday through December 10th! Get ready for a one-of-a-kind season lineup!

A later post from @colesstreetmarket described the new venture as “a sustainable shopping journey that supports local vendors and brands.”

 

 

The market is held at Coles Street Park in Jersey City, which is located on Coles Street between 16th and 18th Streets. The park, which spans 1.5 acres and was unveiled in 2021, already houses playgrounds, dog runs, and public art.

A few of the vendors participating so far include Nute Juicery, Norwich Meadows Farm, Emily’s Hearth, Scale Fish Market, Ash Hopper, and Settantatre Pasta. You can find details about each vendor on the Coles Street Market’s Instagram.
