With the rise in COVID-19 cases and vaccines just beginning to be distributed locally to first responders first and foremost, Hoboken Superintendent of Schools Christine Johnson said Sunday that Hoboken will revert to virtual learning one week after winter break in hopes to curve the possibility of the virus spreading within the schools after the holidays altogether.

Superintendent Johnson issued a statement via the weekly newsletter on December 20th stating, “The entire Hoboken Public School District will operate on a remote learning schedule, just as we did the week after Thanksgiving, from Monday, January 4 through Friday, January 8. We will once again arrange for COVID-19 testing during the weekend of January 9 and 10.”
