“California Chardonnay is always a good bet for Thanksgiving. I like how creamy textures work with white meat and gravy. The Trefethen Chardonnay from the cooler climate Oak Knoll District in Napa is excellent, as the pear and apple notions are balanced with refreshing acidity,” Javier said. “Sauvignon Blanc is another solid, versatile choice. The Wente Sauvignon Blanc from the Livermore Valley is zesty and bright and will pair nicely with the lighter portions of the plate.”

For those interested in a white wine pairing, the famous Wagner family is behind the Conundrum White, an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink blend. According to Javier, this aromatic and floral blend is an off-dry white crowd pleaser that will enhance juicy turkey breast.
