The holiday season is pretty much in full swing — and so are local events. From pictures with Santa Claus {for kids AND dogs} to holiday markets, Hanukkah celebrations, and dance classes, there’s no shortage of things happening in our area this weekend. It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play at the Mile Square Theatre in Hoboken — Thursday, November 29th at 8:00PM

Back by popular demand, Mile Square Theatre revives its beloved production of It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, by Joe Landry. Join MST as the theatre becomes a live recording studio in the golden age of radio and MST theatregoers become the studio audience. Five actors bring to life dozens of characters as WMST “goes on air” to broadcast Frank Capra’s popular holiday story. You don’t want to miss this popular holiday treat for the whole family! Rockette Dance Workshop in Hoboken — Sunday, December 2nd

Former Radio City Rockettes {and founders of popular Hoboken, Jersey City, + Edgewater workout studio, Jane DO} are kicking off the holiday season with a Rockette Dance Workshop. That’s right — if you’ve ever had a dream of becoming a Radio City Rockette, now is your chance to hone their skills in jazz techniques. There will be two sessions depending on age — from 12:00PM-1:00pm for 5-8-year-olds {$50 per dancer} and from 1:15PM-4:00PM for 9-18-year-olds {$100 per dancer}. The Hoboken Holiday Market — Monday, December 17th from 6:00PM-10:00PM

Hoboken Girl’s annual Hoboken Holiday Market is back for 2018 and will be full of holiday fun. Join us for an evening of holiday shopping and celebrating. Over 20 local vendors and boutiques will be at Birch Hoboken {located at 92 River Street} on Monday, December 17th from 6-10:00PM selling unique gift items where you’re sure to find something for everyone on your list. Content Creators Academy 2018 Photo Exhibit in Jersey City — Thursday, November 29th at 6:00PM

The Content Creators Academy is hosting their 2018 Photo Exhibit at the Journal Squared Sky Lounge in Jersey City {615 Pavonia Avenue}. Check out photos taken by students and support the Content Creators Academy’s free after school program. Snacks from Whealth and Co. will be provided.

All About Sicily Dinner at Third and Vine in Jersey City — Thursday, November 29th at 6:30PM

Santa Paws Pup Portraits with Cornerstone Pets in Hoboken — Sunday, December 2nd from 11:00AM-2:00PM

Bring your pups and head to the Hoboken Elks Lodge {1005 Washington Street} for a picture with Santa Claus himself. Pictures will be taken by none other than Puparazzi NYC. Public Menorah Lighting at Hoboken City Hall – Sunday, December 2nd at 5:00PM
