Pride week is in full effect, and with SO many cool events, we’re guessing you’re overwhelmed. If there’s one event you should go to, it’s the After Pride Hangover Brunch because… well, brunch. On the fourth Thursday of each month from 7:30PM – 9:30PM, some of the best performers in the area come out to play and bring you some serious laughs. The biggest fight of the year isn’t an event you should let slide by. In case you don’t have plans yet, Lutze in Jersey City is hosting a Mcgregor VS. Mayweather party where you can watch the much-anticipated fight go down on the big screen. The event will be held inside at the Harborside Atrium {147 Harborside Financial Center Platform} rather than outside at the biergarten to ensure the event happens, rain or shine. There will also be plenty of food to satisfy munchies during the fight and DJ Laaz will be spinning beats. Presale tickets are $30, but will be $40 at the door {cash only}. Hoboken Historical Museum Lecture Series: Sunday, August 27th at 4:00PM

The Hoboken Historical Museum {1301 Hudson Street} is kicking off its World War 1 lecture series with veteran and historian Jamien Parks, who will talk about the history of the training camp Fort Dix in his special event, “From Here to Over There: the WWI Legacy of Fort Dix, NJ.” The series goes until December 10th. Improv With a Cause at Willie McBrides: Sunday, August 27th at 7:30PM

This favorited event is back and better than ever — this time around, YOU get to choose and suggest the games that NYC’s funniest improvers play. The event will benefit Liberty in North Korea, which is a movement of people that focuses on working with refugees and researching ways to make change and a huge impact.

Modern Sage Closing Sale: Sunday, August 27th from 12:00PM – 5:00PM

Bad news first: our beloved Modern Sage  {351 2nd Street} is closing its doors. The good news? Everything will be on major sale this weekend so they can clear all the goodies out. Even better news is that they’ll still offer Healing Sessions once a month at different locations and will be at festivals around New Jersey, so they’re not completely disappearing.
