Treatment Solutions at Evolve Psychotherapy

In an effort to tackle these areas, the team at Evolve Psychotherapy uses various modalities.Therapists employ: Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), which can help you to think differently about your experiences and your relationships; Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which treats personality disorders and interpersonal conflicts; Acceptance Commitment Therapy, (ACT) which aims to increase psychological flexibility; Trauma-Informed care; and Sex Therapy.

“This work is rewarding for so many reasons. Witnessing the moment when clients realize how far they’ve come in their journey; seeing the sense of pride, esteem, and self-worth they feel is one of the most meaningful experiences you can have as a therapist,” Rachael mentioned. “As a woman-owned, small-business, our therapists are working professionals who have overcome many of the challenges our clients face today. Our therapists are equipped with both the personal and professional experience that is needed to make clients feel both comfortable and understood.”

Another therapist at Evolve Psychotherapy, Alanna Shinske, LSCW agrees that the long-term changes they see in clients is what makes the emotionally intensive sessions worth it.

“Seeing the growth in my clients is priceless. It takes time and patience, but helping my clients get to a better place is the ultimate goal,” Alanna Shinske, LCSW, told Hoboken Girl. “It is a mutual accomplishment that we get to share and celebrate together.”
