What We Know
The Kill Room, written by Jonathan Jacobson and directed by Nicol Paone, tells the story of a hitman (Manganiello), his boss (Jackson), and an art dealer (Thurman) as they get tangled up in accidental fame after a money-laundering scheme launches the hitman into the artistic spotlight. This unique genre aims to promise both laughs and exhilarating action.

The Kill Room marks yet another collaboration between Jackson and Thurman, who have previously appeared together in Pulp Fiction and the Kill Bill franchise. Filming will take place in both New Jersey and New York throughout this spring, according to DEADLINE.

The Filming
Filming is rumored to be taking place uptown at the co-working-turned-event space Field Colony in Hoboken, according to a source close to production. JP’s Bagels downtown was also rumored to be closed for a shoot last week, according to several sources, but it’s unclear if that closure was related to this project.
We’re hardly surprised to see another movie choosing to film in this area, as it joins a long list of movies filmed right here in Hoboken and Jersey City. Most recently, the cast of Something’s Wrong with Rose was spotted filming in Hoboken, and an Anne Hathaway film called Armageddon Time was confirmed to have been filming in Jersey City at the end of last year. Fans were also excited to spot Bill Murray, Zac Efron, and Russell Crowe in North Bergen while they were filming The Greatest Beer Run Ever.
