Local Italian restaurant Otto Strada, located at 743 Park Avenue in Hoboken, suffered a fire in the building on Tuesday, January 21st in the evening. The Hoboken fire department was quickly on the scene, and helped the restaurant put the fire out quickly.

The Hoboken FD had posted on its social media on Tuesday evening that there was a fire on the 700 block. It was extinguished quickly, and the restaurant evacuated.

On Wednesday, January 22nd, Otto Strada posted on its Instagram, the following, regarding its closure:
“Otto Strada is closed due to a recent fire. Thank you to our staff for getting everyone outside quickly with no injuries. Thank you to the HFD and JCFD for quickly stopping the fire. We look forward to seeing everyone again when we reopen!”
The Otto Strada team shared with The Hoboken Girl on Thursday, June 19th that the restaurant is on course to reopen in July.
