With lots of recent turnover, it seems as though there are quite a few spots that have gone up for lease — including the former GameStop location, which had been on the market for a while. In fall of 2023, signage was displayed for a new spot to come to 408 Washington Street — it was to become the home of chain store Nuts Factory. And now, as of the first weekend of February 2024, Nuts Factory has officially opened on Washington Street in Hoboken. Read on to find out more about Nuts Factory and its opening in the Mile Square.

Nuts Factory will now occupy the 408 Washington Street location. This retail store, based in the tri-state area, sells freshly roasted + candied nuts, gummies, and dried fruits, among other sweet + savory snacks.

The Opening
On Saturday, February 3rd, the Nuts Factory team opened its Hoboken doors, and had samples upon samples available to the public.

In a recent post, Nuts Factory describes its mission: “Nuts Factory is modeled after the idea of an old fashion market-style store which offers the best large selection of nuts, dried fruits, spices, olives, chocolates, candies, coffee, tea, legumes and more in bulk!”

The team hopes to bring back the nostalgic feeling of open-style, old-fashioned market-style stores selling a large selection of nuts, dried fruits, spices, candies, olives, chocolates, coffee + tea, legumes, and others in bulk. Products also sold at the store are available for purchase online and make great housewarming and host gifts.
