New Jersey is often beloved by celebrities, many of whom call the Garden State home. There are many destinations in North Jersey that are celebrity hotspots, great for spotting a Jonas brother, a real housewife, or an athlete. Check out our list of where to spot a celebrity in North Jersey below.

Alpine

Many celebrities call this small town, with a population of less than 2,000, home. It’s about 15 miles north of Manhattan, so it’s very convenient for Alpine natives to commute to the big city for appearances, dinners, and other events. Residents include rappers Lil Kim, Ja Rule, Rev Run, musician Stevie Wonder, and comedians Chris Rock and Tracy Morgan.

Cresskill

Alpine’s neighbor, Cresskill is another small town in the New York City Metropolitan area. Mary J. Blige, the award-winning singer and actress, bought a house in Cresskill for $2 million in 2001 that she still owns to this day. NBA legend Patrick Ewing also owns a home – um, mansion – in Cresskill that he rents out for a cool $25,000 a day.
