The Brass Rail {135 Washington Street, Hoboken}

One of Hoboken’s most well-known spots, The Brass Rail will be hosting a New Year’s Eve celebration to remember. Both dinner and bar packages will be offered on NYE with a la carte seating from 5:00PM-8:00PM for $65 per person. After 9:00PM there will be a three-course Gala Dinner. In addition, there will be an open bar package option from 9:00PM to close for $75. The Stewed Cow {400 Adams Street, Hoboken}

DJ Wild Child will be at The Stewed Cow helping to ring in the new year. Tickets are available for $75 each and will include an open bar, buffet, champagne toast, and bull riding, of course. With a theme like “All That Glitters,” Mad Hatter will be sparkling on New Year’s Eve. Ring in the new year with different packages to fit your group’s needs. Each ticket includes a complimentary champagne toast, full dinner and desserts, a live DJ, and a live Times Square at midnight viewing. Sorellina {1036 Washington Street} 

The roaring ‘20s meets Hoboken at Sorellina’s Gatsby themed party this year. The Ugly Irishman {72 Hudson Street}

Pilsner Haus + Biergarten {1422 Grand Street} 

Uptown Hoboken comes to life for kids and adults on New Year’s Eve at the Biergarten this year. From 11:00AM-2:00PM and 3:00PM-6:00PM they will be hosting parties for kids complete with a DJ, face painting, raffles + prizes, and a new year countdown and ball drop. Festivities for the adults will begin around 8:00PM and will include a DJ, food, champagne toast, and the Times Square ball drop. Tickets cost $25 in advance and $35 at the door. 

Grand Vin {500 Grand Street, Hoboken}

Join Grand Vin for an epic New Year’s Eve celebration. Experience this “black and gold affair,” which will feature an open bar, passed hors d’oeuvre, and a champagne toast with the open bar ticket, or opt for one of the restaurants three or four-course meal options that evening {prices vary depending on meal time}. Mills Tavern {125 Washington Street} 

Of course, Mills Tavern will be fired up on New Year’s Eve this year, as always. Starting at 9:00PM, there will be an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, champagne toast, and party favors. Antique Bar and Bakery {122 Willow Avenue}

Antique bar and bakery will be going all out for New Year’s Eve. They will have three seatings for dinner at 5:00PM, 7:00PM, and 9:00PM. They will be serving from their prix fixe menu, which includes two whole 100 pound pigs. The last seating at 9:00PM will have DJ Jamison spinning funk and soul for the rest of the night. Black Bear Bar + Grill {205 Washington Street}

Ring in the New Year at Black Bear, which will be featuring a five-hour celebration sponsored by Malibu and Jameson. Tickets will cost $85 before December 15th and $95 after. Anthony David’s {953 Bloomfield Street} 

Chef Pino has prepared a very special New Year’s Eve menu for all of his guests. Seatings begin at 5:00PM and feature either a three or four-course prix fixe menu filled with some of the restaurant’s best and most highly coveted plates. The first seating, at 5:00PM boasts a three-course dinner for $60, followed by a second seating at 7:00PM featuring a four-course dinner at $90 per person, and finishing with the last seating at 9:30PM for a four-course dinner with a champagne toast and party favors at midnight for $110. Bin 14 {1314 Washington Street} 

Anthony David’s sister restaurant, Bin 14, will also be hosting a dinner this New Year’s Eve with three different seatings. At 5:00PM, there will be a three-course dinner available for $50. Following that, at 7:00PM will be the four-course dinner for $75 and lastly, at 9:30PM will be the four-course dinner with a champagne toast for $100. Wine pairings are available to add on to any dinner for $35 per person. Additional drink specials will start at midnight.

City Bistro {56-58 14th Street}

If looking for a place to party on New Year’s Eve that does not have a cover charge, look no further than City Bistro. This uptown hotspot will have a live DJ, tons of dancing, and a champagne toast at midnight for all to enjoy. The multi level space is the perfect spot to ring in the new year with friends. 

House of ‘Que {340 Sinatra Drive} 

Everyone’s favorite Dueling Pianos show will be firing up the stage at House of “Que this year. For $80 {price will increase as the event gets closer}, guests can enjoy a special dueling pianos show, four-hour open bar, Austin-style buffet from 8:00PM to 9:30PM, a champagne toast at midnight, and live coverage of the ball drop in Times Square. Moran’s {501 Garden Street} 

For a no frills, no cover charge New Year’s Eve celebration, Moran’s will be welcoming guests that night and will be a low-key, fun night for all to enjoy. At midnight, everyone can enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne. If looking to stay local and chill, visit Moran’s. 

Wicked Wolf {120 Sinatra Drive} 

The party of the year will be happening at Wicked Wolf, as it always does. With so many different packages available, there is something to fit the needs of everyone. Ticket prices range from $89 for general admission {five-hour premium open bar, multi course dinner buffet, champagne toast, late night snacks, DJ, and party favors} all the way to their VIP Package which includes a private table and party experience with one premium bottle of choice per every four guests and one bottle of premium champagne per every three guests, plus all the features of a general admission ticket. Texas Arizona + 80 River Hoboken {76-80 River Street}

These two locations will be teaming up to bring you the most epic New Year’s Eve block party in Hoboken. With music by DJ Cole Pardi at 80 River and DJ Burak at Texas Arizona, all you need is one ticket to have access to both venues. For $100, guests will enjoy a premium buffet at each venue, premium open bar from 9:00PM-1:00AM, party favors, and a champagne toast at midnight. 

Green Rock Tap + Grill {70 Hudson Street} 

Everyone’s favorite napkin throwing bar, Green Rock, will be throwing a New Year’s Eve bash. Early bird tickets are available for $80 {with a $6.50 fee} until December 26th. After that, ticket prices will increase to $100. Included with each ticket is an open bar {beer, wine, hard seltzers, and mixed drinks} from 8:00PM-2:00AM, food buffet, and a champagne toast. 

Birch {92 River Street} + Wild Moose Saloon {30 Newark Street} 

These two neighboring bars will be throwing the ultimate New Years’ Eve party. This unique multi-venue event will feature a four and a half hour premium open bar from 8:00PM-12:30AM with a gourmet dinner buffet from 8:00PM-10:00PM with party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. Located inside the W Hotel, this waterfront restaurant will be hosting two seatings for New Year’s Eve dinner. The First seating will run from 5:00PM-7:00PM and feature four courses, and the second will run from 8:30PM-10:00PM and will feature six courses. Jersey City

Orale {341Grove Street, JerseyCity and 1426 Willow Avenue, Hoboken}

Both Orale locations will be celebrating New Year’s Eve this year with a four-course dinner, midnight toast, and an open bar. At the Jersey City location, be prepared to ring in the New Year Miami style for $95 per person plus tax and gratuity. In Hoboken, bring yourself back to the good old days with a ‘90s prom party, also for $95 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are available and can be made online or through OpenTable.

Kitchen Step {500 Jersey Avenue} 

This modern American restaurant will be offering a five-course prix fixe menu for $85 per person with an optional cocktail and wine pairing or an additional $45 per person. An American Sturgeon Caviar will be served to start, followed by a wild mushroom soup. For the second and third courses, options such as Lobster Terrine, Short Rib Agnolotti, and Magret Duck Breast are on the menu. Finish the night off with either an artisanal cheese plate, apple pear galette, or a warm chocolate cake. 

Lokal Eatery + Bar {2 2nd Street} 

The waterfront is the place to be this NYE and Lokal is a great place to party in style. They will be opening their doors at 5:00PM for dinner with a final seating at 7:00PM. Following dinner, starting at 9:00PM, a three-hour package will be available for purchase for $100. Included in that ticket price is a three-hour open bar, passed hors d’oeuvres, midnight champagne toast, and DJ. Tickets are available online here.

Battello {502 Washington Boulevard}

This luxurious yet industrial waterfront location will be welcoming guests on NYE for, as they call it, “a menagerie that will wake all of one’s senses.” The party, which is sponsored in part by Cuervo 1800, will feature a top shelf open bar, gourmet passed hors d’oeuvres and stations, DJ, photo booth, entertainment provided by The Almost Easy Band, champagne toast at midnight, and much more. Fire + Oak {485 Washington Boulevard}

This gorgeous American Bar and Grill is a popular place to celebrate New Year’s Eve, with its delectable menu and chic atmosphere. Their menu will feature a three-course prix fixe as well as a complimentary champagne toast and party favors at midnight. On New Year’s Day, they will be offering a champagne brunch and their regular dinner menu.

Porto Leggero {185 Hudson Street} 

This gorgeous Italian restaurant will be serving up a delectable five-course meal along with a champagne toast and a live DJ. Reservations are strongly recommended as space is filling up quickly. The cost per person is $89.95 with an additional 20% server gratuity and New Jersey state tax.

This hotspot in Jersey City will be hosting a ‘90s hip hop evening on New Year’s Eve this year. They will be offering a four-course menu for $95 per person. The option for an open bar is also available or just join them for cocktails at the bar. It’s sure to be a great night

Six26 {126 Christopher Columbus Drive} 

This LGBTQ+ hub in Jersey City is a place where everyone can come to have a great time. The lounge will be hosting a Mobster Ball this year from 7:00PM-3:00AM. Zeppelin Hall {88 Liberty View Drive}

This authentic European-style biergarten is always a favorite in the area. This New Year’s Eve, Zeppelin Hall will be hosting a no cover bash — that’s right we said no cover — complete with a DJ, dancing, hats, noise makers, and a guaranteed good time. Coverage of Times Square will be shown on their hi-definition TVs. No need to purchase tickets to this free event. Just show up and have a ball!

Iron Monkey {99 Greene Street}

This year, Iron Monkey presents their Monkey SEE, Monkey DO Better New Year’s Eve party. The rooftop will be open for all to enjoy and get this — no cover charge from 9:00PM-1:00AM. There will be regular and vintage drafts for half price {35 options}, $6 frozen drinks, $5 house wines by the glass + well drinks, and $5 mixed hors d’oeuvre plates. The bar is a quick walk from the Exchange Place Light Rail and Path Station. If taking a Lyft, Uber, or taxi, show the bartender your receipt and receive a free mixed hors d’oeuvres platter.

GP’s Hamilton Park {236 Pavonia Avenue}

This New Year’s Eve, GP’s will be serving dinner ala cart from 5:00PM-10:00PM with dinner specials with live music entertainment {KellanBrennan on the piano accompanied by Anadelia In vocals from 8:00PM-10:00PM. Following that, a DJ will finish off the night as guests enjoy the festivities. They will be serving passed hors d’oeuvres and a providing a complimentary midnight champagne toast. Reservations are not mandatory but definitely preferred.

Luna {279 Grove Street}

The menu at Luna will take you over the moon and into 2020 this New Year’s Eve. With dinner seatings from 6:00PM-10:00PM, their three-course, $65 per person, prix fixe menu is the perfect way to ring in the new year.  To start, they will be serving up Cajun calamari, empanadas {and vegpanadas}, meatballs, coconut shrimp, grilled polenta, and many more. For the main course, choices include a pappardelle, mountain and sea, penne vodka, short ribs, Cajun salmon, and branzino, among a few other choices. Too that off with something sweet like lava cake, tiramisu, or panna cotta. Reservations are necessary to enjoy Luna on NYE. Each guest will be given a complimentary glass of champagne. Later reservations are invited to stay at the restaurant to watch the ball drop.
