About the Movie
According to Netflix publication Tudum, An Innocent Girl is an erotic thriller that follows the story of a young woman who gets entangled with a DC power couple. Kerry Washington is one of the stars and an executive producer on the project. Other stars include Colman Domingo, James Marsden, Chloe East, and Rob Corddry.
Earlier this year, the movie filmed scenes in Middletown, New Jersey, according to the Asbury Park Press.
Filming
Per an announcement by Grant Wilfley Casting, filming locations will also be in Pompton Plains, Wayne, Hoboken, Paterson, and Jersey City, NJ, in addition to New York City.
Locals know that Hoboken + Jersey City are popular filming locations for all kinds of movies and TV shows. Some recent projects have included It Ends With Us starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni and Office Romance with Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein.

New Jersey has been a hot spot for film projects over the past few years, thanks to generous tax benefits and a deep talent pool. New Jersey was *actually* the birthplace of film, so it’s only natural that the Garden State is leading the way once again. Most other states, including California, have reported slowdowns in film and television production, while New Jersey has experienced growth.
